After many PMs and questions for a write up on the blinker mod I did.....Here ya go. I hope this helps. Ask questions and I'll try to help the best I can.
Please Note: The wiring pictures are courtesy of @Firerunner . Without the pictures and his help, I would've never figured out how to do this.
You will need to remove the mirror trim and the door panel from both the driver's side door and the passenger side. The pics below will help in getting power to the mirror LED drivers. This is for the mirrors with the 8-pin connector. I believe the 22-pin connector already has the needed wire at the mirror connector.
Driver's Side:
You will need to add a wired terminal to location B11 in the "B" connector on the door side. This wire will connect to the white wire from the LED strip driver on the LED strip and will need a diode.
The orange wire from the LED strip driver will connect to the green/brown wire at the mirror and will need a diode.
The black wire from the LED strip driver will connect to the black wire at the mirror. This does not need a diode.
Passenger's Side:
You will need to add a wired terminal to location B8 in the "B" connector on the door side. This wire will connect to the white wire from the driver on the LED strip driver and will need a diode.
The orange wire from the LED strip driver will connect to the blue/grey wire at the mirror and will need a diode.
The black wire from the LED strip driver will connect to the black/white wire at the mirror. This does not need a diode.
Going to be dropping my truck off at a local detailer tomorrow for some paint correction and ceramic coating. He does excellent work and I'm pretty excited about having a clean looking truck. He'll have my truck for a few days and I will post some pics when it's done.

Hey KillinTime, thanks for this build thread it is like a good movie that you don't want to end and can't wait for the sequel. I bought my 2.7 in July 17' after doing tons of research I thought I had all the bases covered for a confident purchase. I don't think it was even 2 weeks after I bought my truck that I found info regarding the valve guide problems on the 2.7's. My trucks build date was right at the end of the problem engines but still within. So far so good on mine, but curious how many miles you had on the ecobeast when the smoking started?? I also recently lifted my truck and now I'm in tire wheel purgatory, can't decide what to get. Would like 35's on 20" wheels but think I will need to regear. I apologize if I missed this somewhere else but what gears are you running? Thanks again for your thread, great entertainment and info!!

Thank you so much for the kind words and visiting my build. It has been quite a journey. I've enjoyed building it. I find myself staring at it from the front window of my house. Lol.
I can't remember exactly when the smoking started but it seemed like about $15,000 miles.
It took me several months to finally decide on a rim; my tires was an easy decision. After deciding on a rim, it sat on backorder for what seemed like forever. Finally, I gave up on the original ones and took another couple of months looking for a replacement. Finally, I decided on the Hostile Sprocket and I like these even better than my first choice.
About the gearing.... I'm running 35x12.5 R20 and I have no issues with the 3.55 gears.
Soooooo..... I had an interesting little trip to the detailer. While sitting at a red light behind a big rig, the rig started rolling backwards and smacked right into me. I layed on my horn as soon as I saw him rolling....he obviously didn't hear me. Luckily, it's only cosmetic and I was still able to drop off my truck. Now I need to get a new bumper insert and either paint it or have it wrapped before I pick up my truck. I'm also going to get my bumper wrapped
Needless to say, I was PISSED! I'm still not happy about it. We all put so much time, effort, money, sweat, and tears just for someone else to f*** up our hard work.
Ya, that does suck, luckily that's all that happened, but still pisses one off. Let me guess, he dropped his cigarette on the floor. One of the oldest excuses in the book if he did say that.
He didn't make an excuse like that. He just said he was on his brakes and didn't think he was moving. He was really nice and apologized a thousand times. It didn't make me feel any better though.
