Sorry guys never got back to anyone, didn't see all the replies. I honestly didn't drive it far I simply pulled it into the street and backed it up to the back of our yard. It does weigh ~6000 lbs. I shouldn't have said I wasn't that impressed because I didn't tow it very far, it just seemed that I had to push down pretty far on the brakes and my dad agreed. Then again, this boat was towed by a GMC V6 envoy we had when my dad's truck broke down, so my truck is more than capable. Just not used to using this truck to tow compared to my dad's 3/4 ton I guess. Unfortunately no brakes on the trailer!!
Anyway, I've been itching to do some more stuff to the truck. What do you guys think about orange decals? I played around on the computer and made some stuff orange, probably going to go with a little bit darker orange I just wanted an idea of what it would look like.

Truck looks great. I think a little darker orange would be better. Maybe a burnt orange.
LOL.
How do you like the Bilstein 5100's, do they make your truck ride nicer? Are they on the rear or front or rear? I only have stock shocks and I am also considering putting on a Hellwig sway bar to avoid that rear end sway when going over bumps.
LOL.

I have bilsteins in the front and back. I never really noticed anything about the rear sway people have talked about on these trucks, I did drive a jeep wrangler for a while that drove...like a jeep wrangler so maybe I just got used to poor ride quality, lol. I did notice that if I hit a big bump on the highway, instead of the truck bouncing up and down a couple times, it's mostly just one up and down motion, really nice actually.
Also, it does stiffen out your ride a little bit, so keep that in mind. Hitting speed bumps with the bilsteins was similar to my dad's 3/4 ton. You get used to it quick though, and it's rather nice IMO.
But with the bilsteins and Toyo MTs (E rating, 50PSI, and 80lbs a tire), the ride quality is very harsh. It honestly feels like I'm rattling the truck apart when I hit bumps on the highway. Don't get me wrong - these tires are extremely smooth, they drive just like any other tire I've driven with, are are only slightly louder than other tires. Any LT295/60r20 would give a hard ride. Not much to do about this, I mean maybe an actual suspension lift would give me a better ride quality, though.

I also installed those LED fog lights I mentioned in this thread a couple pages ago. Little bit bluer than the headlights but still looks good, better than the halogens anyway.

Thanks for the reply. 50 psi is pretty high so I imagine the tires are going to be really hard especially during the colder weather, but I am not by any means an expert on tire inflation. From a few people I have talked with, getting a lift may even make it more harsh of a ride. Contemplating that one right now.
I have BFG's 275/60/20's and I keep them at 42 psi. The ride quality is actually really good. All I have is a 2 inch level.
I also put led bulbs into my stock buckets and fogs and absolutely love the the light output. I got my bulbs from a local guy who distributes LED's made in Canada by a company called Lumens, near the Toronto area. They are a bit pricey but a hell of a lot cheaper than going to factory LED's.
Regardless, your truck looks good and keep up the good work.

The tire shop that installed my tires put them at 50 PSI, I honestly haven't touched them since. I planned on lowering it a little to see if it improved ride quality, and the guy actually said to play around with it a little bit, but I figured the high PSI would help with tread life and gas mileage, although mpg went down the drain when I decided to put on wheels/tires that weigh ~130 lbs..each.
Luckily I will be running stockers with winter tires for the winter so I'll get some of that "luxury ride" for a couple of months.
What size lift do you plan on running?

I figured there were a lot of black FX4's in our area and wanted to make it look a bit different, yet not wanting to be too much of a Raptor Poser. Although the grill in itself gives that impression from a distance. So with the bull bar and stone guard I made my truck a bit different. Do love the Raptor though. $$$$
I was thinking just a 3 inch lift. Don't want to really get too tall. I like to keep the truck in my garage and going too high will make that difficult. I see that Rough Country has one that looks pretty good but BDS is supposed to be good stuff but a bit pricey. Good quality. I'll have to wait till the new year and stock pile the diniros though. Need to win the Lottery LOL since I like to do some more with exhaust and I want to put a Yakima basket rack on the topper for some extra storage when we start traveling : Wouldn't mind winning the American Muscle contest, that would help.

Haven't posted here in a long time, here's some recent pics. Last one was taken today. Both sidesteps are off and I removed the raptor grill lights and front license plate. Added an American flag decal on the tailgate that reflects when the sun or light hits it just right, can post a picture if anyone wants to see it. Another 10 miles until I hit 70k!
I also removed my resonator, sounds pretty good, I'll have to put a video up later. I plan on installing some subs under the seat too, will update thread when that comes.
Also removed some stickers on the rear window, was getting sick of them. Plan on taking a few more off too.
