I highly advice not going with bigger blocks. Spring wrap is a problem in these trucks to begin with. I reccomend either buy lift springs or get AAL with a long leaf as the ride will not suffer much. Also better shocks make the world of difference.

Hey thanks man! I have followed your build for a while your truck is friggin sweet. I have thought it would be cool to go the prerunner route but it's just to much $ for me, maybe one day when I'm out of school. But for this truck now I just plan lifting it. And I have thought about the gearing before and I figured since I don't drive it very much because I go into school with my mom that I would get the lift 1st. But what's funny is as I am typing this I am thinking maybe I will just buy the wheels I want now and then save up more for the lift... the wheels I want are Mickey Thompson Classic locks

I was reading up on it and it seems that's what other people are saying to. So I am going to go with the AAL also anti wrap bars are a bit pricey and if I went the block route I would have gotten them.

So it turns out that the early build 97s headlights mount different then the rest so my head lights wouldn't fit. So I was looking into it and I ended up swaping the header panel on my truck with a 98s header panel so I could fit different headlights.

It was really easy and only took me a few hours to do.

Did a little mudding the other day figured I would show a pic. The hole was deeper then I thought.

Got my nephew his first f150 for his second birthday. It even has a real working radio in it. It didn't come with working headlights my uncle put those lights in and wired a switch up its pretty sweet because they actually project a little.
