That's a big negative on that one. Still somewhat in the works. Ford is willing to work with me, but I don't have infinite days to be without my truck.
.Still makes noises, but runs strong

Dang thats a bummer. Mine should be here on the 1st. I will be out of town so hopefully when I get home on the 6th it will be ready for me to pick it up! I always see your updates and think "He got it fixed! Gonna make a note of the fix..." Hope they get this worked out soon!

Finally got around to doing a small mod I've wanted to do for a while. Installed a 6 piece Interior light kit. One of those features (among a few) that I like from the higher trim levels. Would rather the factory kit with cup-holder and door lights, but this will do for this peasant for a while.
The colours are changeable as well as being dimmable. I like the red as it accents the interior red features on the SE's.

Strips are placed in the front of the front footwell, the front of the driver and passenger seats (glowing into the front footwell as well) & the back of the driver and passenger seats (glowing into the rear). I Cut the 12V socket off and wired it directly to the passenger side fuse panel using a "tap a fuse". The strips are powered full time when the truck is running and stay powered when the truck is turned off until a door is opened (or until the fuse times out).

New bit of exciting news for us, Mrs.Johnny_bravo00 drove home her brand new Jeep . The truck used to share the driveways with a 2015 Passat Sport (that will not be missed). The new jeep suits our lifestyle much better than that car. Very happy with the new purchase. Had a build in place with a dealer and ended up sourcing 1 of 1 in existence for sale in Ontario with all of the options we wanted.

2019 Jeep JL Wrangler Sahara Unlimited > Black
V6 - 8 speed Auto
Premium "Tech grey rims"
Tan leather interior (this is what made it a rarity)
Cold weather group
Safetytec group
LED lighting group
Nav and sound group
Dual top group (hard & soft tops)
Body coloured hard top
Trail rated
window storage bag & wheel locking nuts were a bonus

This new Jeep rides surprisingly plush, and the 8 speed is fairly "peppy".
Take all of this with a grain of salt as I would still drive my truck over the Jeep any-day.

Thanks John, I do like the red but I feel as if its borderline "ricey" lol. I'm really torn up about it. Maybe I'm just getting older! I was even debating the chrome package when ordering this truck........ Glad I didn't, but I debated it. So yeah, Rice>bad, Jeep>good

If you are going to order the fuse tap. The passenger foot-well uses the "micro 2" sized fuse. Totally ordered the wrong size at first without checking. SMH. Another thing to mention is that 4 strips I would think is more than enough. I was initially going to cut 2 of them down to size and mount them into the door pockets. Couldnt find a spot where they would be completely hidden so I scrapped the idea and put them under the front of the seats.

This looks great. I will now be awaiting your step by step install tutorial just like you did with the charger cord relocation write-up. Thanks in advance

Ordered a new 7" Rydonair antenna to replace the stubby I have on it. I like the look of the one currently on it but cant stand the bad reception anymore. I have a 13" Rydonair on the Jeep and it works as good as it looks. No noticeable reception loss after install, although I am going with a shorter version on the truck. Also, finally pulled the trigger on a raised lettering for the tailgate. Went with a black with red outline to match the fender badges. Cant wait for these to come in the mail.. Both aren't expected to come in for some time

I have a 6 3/4" antenna so the 7 should be just about the same as mine. I have not noticed any change in reception on my end! Fingers crossed it all goes well for you! I am anxious to see the letters on the back. I do not think I will do them as I am trying to go for the clean "de-badged" look.

That's good news, thanks for the input. As for the debadging, I typically am all for it. All side stripes & dealer badging had to go.. But.. The more I see that spot empty, the more I want to make it match. Weird.
