Hope you get some decent weather so you can work on your lighting upgrades today. I, personally, am going to start construction on my Ark today! Rain rain go away!

Hey John I was looking at tires today and it reminded me of you because of how much you "love" your hankooks. I have the bfg Ko2's in stock size and I can't say I love their winter performance, but they aren't the worst I've had. Kind of wanting a change from the Ko2's, I read up on the falken wildpeak a/t3s and sounds like their winter performance and wear is pretty good. Thinking I'm gonna try these next, figure I'd share that to you. Damn weather's been horrible here too.

Thanks for the heads up. I had Wildpeak AT3 on my Ranger a few years ago, and they're not a bad tire at all, especially for the price.
I really wasn't real happy with those KO2's on the '12 either, as far as snow, I thought they were better than some, but not stellar. If I had kept that truck, it would have wound up with DuraTracs, I sure do like them on the Ranger!!
Oh man, the last two days have been great here, low 50's both days!!
I was able to go out and wash windows and mirrors, I'm heading down to Duhtroit County tomorrow.

I've thought about duratracs but few guys I work with have them and they say they are awesome. They also said they produce some road noise more than the Ko2's and I'm not sure if I would be happy with more tire noise. What is your experience with the tire noise vs the ko2.

They seem to be a bit noisier than the KO2's, but in the Ranger, it really doesn't bother me. I hear more exhaust than tire on that. Then again, a couple things are different, it's a much lighter truck, and the DuraTracs have a lot more miles on them than the KO2's had.
I'd put them on this 150 if I wasn't going for more of a street like look on it. I need something that will grab more pavement than dirt, but still something at least passable in snow. I'm likely chasing unicorns there.

Sorry about being so late to reply, I'm down at my wife's, so 'puter time is limited!
Those DuraTracs are the best winter/snow tires I've ever had. Granted, I've never had true winter tires. I wouldn't mind some, but for what I do, it just doesn't make sense having "another" set of tires/wheels hanging around.
Thanks for the compliments on the truck, I'm still not 100% on the street look, but it's a bit less expensive than what I usually do, plus, it'll surprise some people!
