LOL, it would be good to have for Christmas for a couple days, then it can just go away 'til next Christmas.
The last two winters haven't been that bad, but the three previous, we were all just about to quit until spring. Sub zero for weeks, and I'm talking the -40's, and snow. Who ever said it's too cold to snow ain't ever seen a real winter!!!!

Jeez summers when do you have to go to bed to get up at 3:45am?? I’m struggling enough to get up at 5 to get to work at 6. Can you bottle up some of that early morning courage and send it to me? Thanks.
Half-joke aside, sometimes it’s nice to be up and the usual rat race is still asleep. Then I go outside and reap the benefits of XLT 300A: no heated mirrors and no rear defrost, do it all with the hose. I almost wish for the white stuff. It’s cold here but no snow so the ice is super hard to get off without water hose.

I think I'm gonna enjoy the remote start and heated seats if I need 4X4 this year.
Those tails might work with the red VHT. On the Ranger, I tried the VHT smoke stuff. It darkened them to the shade I wanted, and I have some pretty good LEDs all the way around, so visibility wasn't effected. Thing is, for some reason, I could never get the gloss I wanted, so I bought some '06 stock tails, and used the LEDs in them. Basically, I gave up.

dumb question, but on these newer trucks with heated this and heated that. If you remote start your truck, can you toggle heated seats, mirror defrost, etc., remotely? Say....with a phone app or something?

I do know I have to turn on the seat heat.

Cuz that'd be great. Remote start your truck, whip the phone out and turn on your heated seats and steering wheel from your cozy house.

Strangely, our '13 Flex doesn't show scratches & such nearly as badly as the F150 b-pillars; and there's a lot more of the glossy black plastic on the Flex.

On mine, I don't think so. Whenever I remote start, the climate controls are off when I get in the truck. As soon as I turn the key, the controls power up. The ones with auto climate might. I'll pay a little closer attention when I remote start next time.
