LOL, my entire life, from parents, other relatives, and people in general, I've been considered that. Much easier when I think it's them, not me!!!!

Good to know, these may turn out to be an option for me down the road a bit.

Not hard to believe, coming from the guy who spells "sport" with a "th".
I guess I just like a touch of shiny stuff. There is definitely a thing as way too much. When you have the pillars, entire mirrors, vent visors, huge rims and the bottom half of the truck chrome...you gotta back away from the 3M.
I wonder what your truck would look like with 2018 Raptor wheels

LOL, you know how I just love the "Sport" moniker!!! Thport just seems to fit, well, in my mind.

I'd bet it would look pretty good. I almost kept the ones I had on my '12, but sold most of my aftermarket parts as a package. I'm just now getting into pocket money on these parts. Besides the 315/70/17 KO2's wouldn't have worked for what I have in mind. I'm trying to keep this one as more of a sleeper/street truck. Ya, I know, a "Thport truck"!!

Took me until now to realize what Thport referred to. Yeahhhhh..........

I'll bet the big sidewalls rode better than the new 20s though. 2017 Raptor beadlocks? But seriously I like those beadlock wheels, I think the all-black fits the raptor much better than the non-beadlocks

Likely not exactly politically correct I suppose, but we're mostly adults here, I think!!

Ya know, I really haven't noticed a difference in that regard, in handling though, this one is tons better, it feels like. Logic would say they would have ridden better, I think maybe the suspension, and being right about 2" higher on the suspension alone, plus the 34.4" tires really didn't help handling, or ride, but I was used to it.
I plan on going to a 33" opposed to the 32" on it now, but that's down the line, likely next spring/summer.
I was at Belle Tire yesterday getting my tires rebalanced on the Ranger, and looked at couple different wheels they had on display. Not sure on the style, and might have to go to an 18", but sorta made up my mind to go with a grey color, and try stay around a +20-30 offset. Ya, I'm afraid I might really limiting myself.

Nah there are plenty of options between +18 and +35. The differentiating factor between those wheels will be width: 17x8 +18s will honestly stick out about the same as 17x8.5 +35. In my case I would be limited to 17x8 +35, which is severely restrictive.

But you have flares so it’s all k. Looking forward to seeing if you pull the trigger on new wheels (I’ll bet there’s other stuff on your to-do list). I need to stop looking at your truck unless I want to impulse buy LED tails

That's a very nice comment about the tails, glad they impressed you.
Gotcha on the wheels. I'd like to get a setup similar to the offset and width of my old Raptor wheels, just in an 18" or 20" size, with 33" somethings. I don't want any taller tires than that, much taller and my launch will be sacrificed in my mind. Not that I'm setting it up for drag racing, I'm not, but do like at times to please myself on the street, if ya catch my drift. LOL
You likely notice that I haven't mentioned my fogs too much. I got out there the other day, and planned to change them out, but olde Arthur Itis didn't want to cooperate. Turns out, that was a good thing, I got the whole package with my fogs including the black plastic housing, and got thinking on how those housings might look in a dark carbon fibre wrap.. Just an idea. I'll be downstate later around Christmas, and there's some better places that wrap down there, so I plan on checking that out, might even talk about the "B" pillars as well.
And, oh yeah, I'll likely think of something else!!!

I'll be keeping them, no telling what I might do when it comes time to sell this one. I made out very well when I sold my aftermarket parts off the '12, plus the dealer wanted it returned to stock as much as possible, so it worked out well that I kept the stock tires/wheels.
