hope that gets resolved for you. Is it noise/errors during 4x4 shift? I just read the “Everything you wanted to know about IWE” article and am beyond confused.

Please do report back back on the 5100s when they go on; that’s next on my upgrade list after this Weatherguard box is finished robbing me dry.

Oh, it'll get straightened out, just a bit aggravating. I can be driving along and get the grinding/rock in the dust shield sound. Flip it into 4X4/let off the fuel, and it goes away. Bypassing the valve/solenoid does no good, hubs appear to hold vacuum, so I gave up. It's under warranty, but I hate not understanding how things work or don't work.

The Bilsteins: I was always disappointed with them before, never an improvement on any truck I put them on. The guys here seem to like them, and they're tons cheaper than what I'd normally try on a mildly lifted truck. We'll see how it works out soon.

That's why when I do my leveling kits I never remove the cv shaft outta the hub. Cause I'll be the guy to screw mine up.

Having my shocks installed Wednesday afternoon. 5100 Bilsteins, setting the front at .75. That will leave me with about 1"rake. I want to maintain some so when I get groceries the rear doesn't sag, it doesn't take much on these 1/2 tons of any maker, sad, especially with the GVWR they make up.
Get my black headlights tomorrow, just chrome blacked out around the edges, similar to the FX/HD heads on the 12th gen, should darken it up just enough. Next will be some aftermarket fogs, something like the Morimoto XB35's. The front should then be complete short of paint protection film. I think the grille looks too good to screw it up with chipping.

Question, when installing front shocks, is it still mandatory to unplug the EPAS? How difficult is it to get to the connector on an Egoboost?

I didn't unplug anything. I also didn't remove the front knuckles. Just loosened the bolts on the LCA, and wiggled until the old came out. Getting the new in was slightly easier since it didn't have bolts pressed in.

Cool! That'll save some work, thanks.

Just got back from having the 5100's installed, set the front at the 3/4" setting. Also got my black trimmed heads in.
The truck now sits with a 1" rake, much better than the 3" I started with. 38"F/39"R. I'm leaving it at that so when I put a load in it, it won't sag excessively.
Eyeballing a different lower grille for it as well, just haven't made up my mind.
I really don't want the hassle of LED tails, but something has to be done about that chrome stuff on the tails, just looks tacky to me. Anyone seen any decent looking tails that aren't LED?
