Hey John have you done led turn signals in your headlights yet? I just installed the sylvania zevos in both headlights turn signals and taillights. Im pretty impressed by them. When dim they are no brighter than stock which made me worried until I hit the brakes/signals then light up really bright. I had some ibrightstars and they were brighter on dim but wasn't much of a difference when your signal was on. They did get brighter but wasn't enough of a transition to get peoples attention. Also the amber is a true amber color unlike the other ones I had were more yellow. I'm pretty pleased if your interested in doing some I would put them on your list to at least try.

No, I haven't yet, but should. I've heard good things about the Zevos, I'll look them up. I just got that Forscan dingle dangle, so taking care of hyperflash on the dash wouldn't be a problem. I've got a box I'm filling up with parts so if it ever gets nice out again, I'll have something to do.

Those ones I've shown in all the threads, is not an OEM either, although it looks like it. Those are YG360 valves, I don't have the part number, but Ford does use them in other applications, HVAC system for one. When I got my '17, not even 500 miles on it, I got the grinding. Took it to my dealer, and they couldn't replicate, so nothing they could do. I understand that. So, I went over to the parts counter, and bought a YG360, haven't had a problem since. Got paranoid, and put a second one in tandem closer to the engine. Another member and I got talking, and we came to the conclusion, that at cooler temps, the OEM flapper was hanging up, causing loss of vacuum. If I can find my original, I plan on taking the newest version and cutting them both open, to see what the difference might be. I suspect the newer version is made of different material than the olde.
From what I gather, the -B valve is the new one and it should be blue in colour, yeah? I might buy two of those and throw them in the glovebox then. If you have a picture of the tandem setup I might just go do that instead. Do you just need some extra vacuum line tube for that? Kinda confusing because some of the OE check valves on the 12th gen were blue.

All you have to do is cut the line and insert the 2nd valve. It was 10F when I did that, so I heated the hose up with a halogen worklight and straightened it up.
Yes, the "B" valve is blue, see the parts bag in previous photo, that's the part number for the newest valve.
I didn't know they were blue on the previous gen, my '12 never gave me any trouble so I guess I never looked.
Did the tandem valve photo show?

I'll try another way to load a photo.
How about now, can you see the photo?

Thanks Tommy, sure wish I could figure this out. I've got a couple different ways to load photos, sometimes, one way works, then it doesn't, do it a different way, and some see it, others don't.SMH

I think it has to be the forum John. I did also see the picture in the post before your last one last night as well. I now see just a blue box with a question mark in it. However, if I click on it, the picture comes up as if the picture was shown in the post itself and you clicked on the image. Hmmm.....

I could see the picture just fine the other night, but today it’s disappeared. The second post is fine. That’s why I always host on imgur instead of any forum services.
