Well I will be casting my vote closer to the 4th and I know who is getting it ^^^^^. I am hoping to be a tie breaker. Not only do I want the better truck to win, but the guy with the MUCH better attitude!

I got bummed on the TOTM a while back when a member pandered the "introductions" section of the forum and had like the last post on 20 something threads, then all of a sudden, jumped out to a commanding lead.

One thing we can all agree on is that we built our trucks how we wanted, to be functional and stylish in our own minds and whether or not it wins a popular vote, we still love our truck just the same!! Thats why I prefer to stay out of the competition, just really nothing in it for me personally, but I understand to some it is a nice honor.

That’s another reason I dropped out. I put some work into my regular cab and enjoyed it more for that work. This truck now doesn’t even feel like mine. I slapped wheels on it, big whoop
next one definitely will be something I can “ make my own”

That's exactly what it's all about, as long as the guy who owns it, likes it.

It warmed up to 9F, so Seamus and I walked the 250' to the mailbox. Got my new updated checkvalves!! Amazing what enthuses an olde guy. Seamus was glad to get back inside too.

I walked the 700 ft to the mailbox and back, set everything up in Forscan, freaked out thinking I bricked TPMS and reverted the A.S.S. disable. Seamus must be one hell of a good luck charm.

Is that for the IWEs? I wonder if 2018s already have them.

LOL, oh, he is. Some stores here allow dogs, it's funny how he attracts some good lookers! I guess he's got good taste, for the most part.
Yep yep, those are the latest greatest from Ford for the IWE system. You would think they'd at least be on some late '18's. Can't say for sure, but if yours is blue, it would be the latest update. I got one for a spare, and one to cut open and see what the flapper looks like, to compare to my original if I can find it.

Sadly it's not blue. The unit is bulky and black. 7A788-AC, exactly what yours look like in the IWE thread, save for the HL3Z for being a 2018 model. It's an early 2018 build date. Maybe this will finally put an end to the F-150's IWE woes.

Probably just another addition to the long list of reasons why I should have swallowed my V8 pride and bought the near-identical 10/18 build 2.7 truck instead.

Those ones I've shown in all the threads, is not an OEM either, although it looks like it. Those are YG360 valves, I don't have the part number, but Ford does use them in other applications, HVAC system for one. When I got my '17, not even 500 miles on it, I got the grinding. Took it to my dealer, and they couldn't replicate, so nothing they could do. I understand that. So, I went over to the parts counter, and bought a YG360, haven't had a problem since. Got paranoid, and put a second one in tandem closer to the engine. Another member and I got talking, and we came to the conclusion, that at cooler temps, the OEM flapper was hanging up, causing loss of vacuum. If I can find my original, I plan on taking the newest version and cutting them both open, to see what the difference might be. I suspect the newer version is made of different material than the olde.
