It ain't cheap for sure, and the big reason I didn't do it when the grille was PTMed, I couldn't find anyone in the area that did wrapping at all. My buddy at the dealer, a couple years ago, had to send a truck downstate for a wrap, so locally, I'm on my own. Down in your area, it seems there are some places, and next time I'm over in the metro area, I might go to a shop that does wraps. There's a couple not far from my wife.
I'll get some photos of before/after when I do this. I'll have all my materials this week, so I'll likely get some up soon, at least on the practice piece. The part I Might have trouble with, is the seams between the logo and background.
I see they have spray on film as well, and I might wind up going that direction.

Got my badges today from "mbullock". Absolutely perfect. Mike does the highest quality work I've seen, I'm electrostatic. Feel very lucky to have been able to get him to do these.
I only installed the Tgate badge since I want to put paint protection on the front one before I install it. Will be a few weeks to let the paint cure.
Typical crappy photos of mine, but the Ruby Red matches perfectly. I'll clean this thing up in a few days and hopefully get better photos.

You've pretty busy with that Whipple. Glad to see you got it done.
Thanks, I guess you know who I recommend.

John, did you go with the gloss black with the red? I am in the process of getting my logos painted with some other parts, and just got me thinking this morning before the paint goes on, maybe going with the matte black vs. the gloss. I would do the same theme as the tailgate emblem Summers showed above, but if I look close at that one, it appears as if the black in that picture is more of a matter than gloss.
I would do the same theme for the front and the back, my grille is all blue where Summers is black, so I get where he is going. Just over thinking it, as you know, getting a good painter to do these is not cheap, and am only going to do this once.

Yes, mine are all gloss. Didn't notice Jons' didn't look gloss until you mentioned it. Maybe he'll see this and say for sure.
I see where he's going with the contrasting outer ring, and it's the same thing I thought of when I went with the black. It'll help break up any variation if by a slim chance that could happen. If you have mbullock do it, chances are it'll match, mine do 100%. It's just with the way Ruby Red reflects light off of different angles, that sometimes it looks different, plus, I'm not much of a photographer.

Thanks John, yours do look good! I couldn't get MBullock do do all my parts, but am confident the painter I have doing the work will paint an excellent emblem. He's another one of the recommended ones around here as well, and would be a good choice for anyone who couldn't get MBullock to do the work. Mike was my first choice, just couldn't make it work on my end with the larger parts I had.
I will go with the black and blue theme, just like you have with the red and black. My grille is also color matched, so that theme seems to go well with what we have. Summers grill is black, so the way he would have his done up front would probably be the way I would do it as well if I had the black.
Just looking again at your pics, I am digging the gloss more. With the glossy paint of the ruby red all surrounding your emblems, that sheen just seems to flow. If I had a black grill, I might consider more of a matte finish so it blends in with the lower gloss front grill, but since mine is glossy like yours, that may be the way I go. Thanks for indulging my emblem obsession today.

Zero problem!
When I had my '12 and was doing the grille thing, the only thing that kept me from going with Mike was the distance, if we'd been a couple hundred miles closer, he'd have had that job too. I know it cost about $130 for me to ship a grille to a guy down in Mississippi, so for $260 for a round trip shipping, would have been too much.
Looks like you, Jon, and I, are on the same page with these badges. Another thing with the contrasting ring, it won't make it look like the badge shrunk, just my opinion.
So you've made your mind up, eh? It'll look great!

Even if you were closer, not sure Mike could have done the grille anyway. The limiting factor for me wasn't the shipping, he's relatively close to me as well, he just specializes in smaller parts. He kills the ovals and the mirror caps, door handles, etc., would even have done all my new emblems, stock ones and the ones I had custom made. My Putco window trim pieces are just too long for his setup, so would have had to ship the small pieces to him, and the larger ones to my other painter. In the end, for me, just had to get all my pieces to my painter, but knowing he is still a solid option, perhaps not with the same reputation around here as Mike.
So yeah, made a decision, finally lol! My parts are already at the painter, some of them are in the works, just the ovals he was going to do last and figured it was a perfect time for my indecision. Some things are impulsive, some things I stress over for no apparent reason. Like I said, obsession at times.
