Front end looks great! I have to ask, did you consider the OEM tailgate assist? It actually is hidden behind the passenger taillight, very slick.

Is the Deezee assist made of aluminium? Dissimilar metals and all that jazz that probably doesn’t even matter but I’m paranoid about

Hmm, no it's steel. Funny thing, the factory bolts on the tailgate are steel. You bring up a valid pointe though. I think many of us have had aluminum wheels stick to brake drums and flanges due to corrosion because of dissimilar metals.
Any metallurgists out there?

When I looked it up I found that it was common for some plants to use the same fuel lines on all of the trucks regardless of if they were for flex fuel or not. The non flex fuel lines were bigger in diameter than the flex fuel lines. Given that E85 is very corrosive, that could've turned into a nightmare had I been running E85 exclusively.
I would have thought the flex fuel lines would have been bigger since it takes more volume for ethanol compared to gas for the same amount of power. Live and learn.

Default Tails?

I posted this in the '15 to present forum as well. I'd like feedback from you guys in the "Build" section.
I found these tails, and think they might be what I'm after to rid myself of the chrome outlined stockers.
What does anyone think? I don't want the "ricer" look, that's my biggest fear about going to LED type tails. These appear to not have the visible LEDs in the daylight, only when they are lit.
Honest comments please, my feelings won't be hurt.

I vote no.....The C-clamp style led turns me off, reminds me of Chevys. There is one style I would consider, I'll try and find a link later from my pc.

Ya, I'd like to see what you're thinking, we tend to share the same taste.

OE 2018 LEDs would be my first choice, but they're pricey.
Don't think I've seen many aftermarket tails that I've liked.
