Flashtech pretty much the same thing but the Flashtech halos have the regulators mounted externally which is the reason why the rings usually stop working so if they go bad you don't have to pull apart the headlight. That's the main reason I went with them other than that I'd go with oracle much much better customer service

I'd look at the retrofit source and research it there are several threads on fx-r retrofits for 04-08 f150s I think I'm gonna do a ls460 retrofit with halos in my other set of headlights for everyday driving and ill keep the q45s for when I go to shows and such. I know for sure the fxr is wayyyy easier than my retrofit.
