OK, I think maybe by putting up a thread about it, it'll keep me honest and on pace to make the changes I want to my truck. I'm going for subtle things that make this truck unique to the other millions that are out there. Most of the changes will be cosmetic as my main project car is my 1995 turbocharged Miata that gets all the performance stuff.
Anyway here's a BEFORE picture of the truck the day I bought it. It's a 2019 XLT Sport 2.7 Eco in Magnetic with the 302A package.
First mod to the truck was the DeeZee tailgate assist. I have an 8 year old girl who would for sure be injured trying to catch a falling tailgate, so this was done out of necessity.
I've always installed a tonneau cover on my trucks to make the bed into sort of a trunk. This truck is no exception.
Truxedo Truxport. I've always been a fan of the soft rollup covers because I like that I'll be able to use the WHOLE bed when I need to without having to remove anything. And I can also access the whole bed without having to sacrifice any rear visibility either.
Today I actually trimmed back the front air dam to reduce its size. If you don't know, the 2019 2WD Ecoboost come with a ridiculously huge front air dam. So yes, what you see here is actually trimmed back. I even did a little upswoop on the outside ends. I'm still debating on removing it altogether. Not sure yet.

Everyone does it, and so did I. BuiltRight Industries rear seat latch to get to that little storage area behind the rear seats. Install took maybe 10 minutes from start to finish. Now I can put my daughter's quiver somewhere without arrows going all over the place.

I have one also and keep all sorts of stuff back there. It’s a great little product. Have to wonder why Ford couldn’t just address the storage issue from the factory.
