Well...I've since decided to take the side-stripes off the truck. I wanted to go with a more offroad look, and so now I'm leaning towards a more Roush-Raptor style.
I also forgot to mention that I did add a very simple air intake mod - the AEM drop-in DRYFLOW filter. I searched relentlessly on this forum and compared complete CAI switchouts for drop-in filters and the more I read - the more people agreed that it wasn't worth the money to spend $300 on a full CAI and not get the HP out of it. Also - the dry filters are much better for the turbo engines versus the oiled filters that K&N pumps out (which I had bought numerous times before). That said - I took it easy and dropped $40 for the AEM dry flow filter...not much noticeable throttle response but no biggie...

Guys, I'm skipping ahead but literally just installed these decals late yesterday. They are almost identical to the ROUSH offroad decals but I purchased them to say "4X4" instead of Roush since I'm not trying to be that much of a poser! Just trying to get the same look. They are NOT perfect decals by any means. In fact, I bought them off ebay for only $32 TOTAL. Compared to other sites that's obscenely cheaper so for the cost savings I think they will work! Guys,
I upgraded from the OE Hankooks and STX style rims to Raptor Takeoffs and Falken Wildpeaks. I did a lot of research and settled on these over the BFG KO2's (higher price), Duratracs (close but Falkens had better warranty, slightly cheaper, and a better sidewall pattern IMO), or the Nitto Terra Grapplers. See photo updates:

After the winter weather wore off and just after Christmas, I had some major changes happen. First - my wife got me some Westin HDX drop steps for the sides of the truck ($275 off ebay). Secondly - I wanted to add a couple of "Roush-esque" stripes to the sides and tailgate of the truck. I searched online and did some fairly intense dimensional estimates off of the actual Roush Nitemare truck. Next, I went to Home Depot, got some painter's tape and plastidip....and WAH LAH! In my opinion, the truck's look totally changed and it didn't even cost me $500 total to this point from stock. The decals for the tailgate at American Truck are $50 and the hood decal is $30 so that's at least $75 in my pocket to get an almost identical look...

I'm looking for a little clarification. is all the black you have added Plasti Dip? grille, front bumper, and tailgate??
Thanks
