Looks great, it's amazing what a little paint can do.

The silver is a really nice touch. Gives me ideas with my silver lift kit.

Thanks to all the comments. I just ordered the Raptor bumper end caps and am going to do a changeout probably earlier next week. Will post more photos then!

Ok - as mentioned previously - I bought some second-hand Raptor end caps off of eBay for $100 total with shipping included. Not a bad deal!

It definitely gives the truck a more trim, off-road look. Here are a few photos during the changeout:

Guys - got a lot to update. Since my last post there's been a couple of changes:

1. Addition of Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender Part 20936-02. Installation was easy - to - medium difficulty. Not bad really.
2. Obviously the Raptor bumper caps - but still had to figure out a way to fill the sensor holes on a budget. No worries - found a solution: 3/4'' Knock Out Seals (electrical dept. next to the lighting) from Home Depot. Paint them to match and WAH-LAH! Photos further down the thread.
3. I noticed that Raptor's have those extra lower panel covers and wanted to give that look - so of course I whip out the Plastidip again. Photos below. of course there are some imperfections but for the price it gets the look I was looking for...

Some additional shots after I painted over the Raptor bumper ends again and also painting the small quarter panel sections:

Close ups of the bumper plugs (not perfect but good enough for $1.00 worth!!) and also the bag that the knock out plugs come in:

**NEXT MODS ON THE AGENDA:

1. 2'' Spacer Level Kit
2. BORA 1.5'' Spacers (with the new flares it is a must)
3. Raptor Rear Tailgate Applique (still debating this - would probably need to paint over the OE Raptor Gray to make it appear right?)
4. Raptor-style dual exhaust (considered a few options - Borla ATAK 140616BC looks good, sounds decent for Ecoboost, but costs $1200!!)

Be careful when picking out your exhaust. Most of the pre-made kits come ready to install on a factory (non Raptor) bumper. Meaning the tips will sit to low for your new Raptor bumper and not look correct. If you go with one of these kits you will probably need to do some custom bending if you want to keep the tips up tight to the bumper like the Raptors are.

I am going thru this same process on my XLT now and am planning on going with a single in/duel out muffler with custom bent pipes to 4' black tips. This way I can get the tips up in the proper location, up tight to the bumper.

Best of luck and keep up the good work!

You can also wait until somebody whats to sell their take-off from an actual raptor (this happens more often than you would think) and adapt it to you XLT. I ended up doing this on mine and work out pretty good.
