Default hoffman's build

Had my truck for about 3 years now and thought I may as well start a build thread for it.
Here it is the day I bought it. 2001 supercrew 4x4 all stock with 78k

Had it for about 24 hours and had to put some real exhaust on it. Ran a cherry bomb extreme with dual exit before the rear tire and two Chrome tips. Sounds great

Here is one after a couple years of being on.

A lot of the next steps I do not have any pics of but basically I played around with some plasti dip. Did the rims, grill, badges and bumpers. Liked some if it but ended up peeling it off the bumpers. Looked too much like a work truck. Next was a big one! After a big storm a tree had fallen and scrathed up the side of my truck so I decided if its getting painted anyway may as well two tone it! Also installed billett grill, 3" fiberglass cowl hood, and once again played around with plasti dip.

Next step was tinted tails, 15% tint all the way around with 35% on the windshield. And a little more plasti dip. Lol

Looks really nice with the monsters on. Now you need some new headlights and fog lights.

Also if your bumpers were painted red it would even be better.

Yeah I asked the body shop to do it when I got it painted and they said it would not stick to the Chrome and would eventually start to peel and the plastic wouldn't look good if painted cause its not smooth. Since then I have found some stuff called shadow Chrome. Looks cool so I may do that to the Chrome and ptm the lower valance. If it peeled off ill deal with it then. Been looking for a piaa valance forever. Found one but they wanted 800 unpainted!
