I can't believe you got away with DMV-DOT allowing the light bars... You don't even see spot lights mounted any more unless they are on an emergency vehicle...

In the JEEP DAYS they would allow us to put socks on OFF-ROAD lights but now they only allow it only when being used OFF-ROAD. You have to trailer your jeep getting there...

That sucks! Technically we are suppose to have covers on the light bars but they do not make a cover that long/big for the bars, especially for the curved bars. I haven't been told anything yet...knock on wood.

Thanks!! They are from Ford, but I bought them through tascaparts.com. They are expensive but they are super worth it.

How did you run the wire from the bar to your switch? Pics?

My new bar is not hooked up at the moment. My first bar's cable was ran underneath the black plastic on the window all the way down to the hood. Then I just ran it through the wiring hole behind the steering wheel. I am going to do the same setup for my new bar, but I am going to add it to my new AUX fuse box instead of the battery directly. I didn't like the look of all the extra wires attached to my battery. I will also be moving my switch panel to the ash tray. I will attach pictures from the wiring of my new 54" light bar and the relocation of my switches in about a week.

Ok cool. I just bought rc mounts and a 54" the other day. Sounds like a similar set up I have 4 switches in the ash tray all running to an aux fuse box.

Awesome! You are going to love it. Do you have pictures of your switches in the ashtray?
