Okay, I like both painted bumper and 18s on 35s better! I just thought those were what you said you were going with. I think 18s fit older trucks better than giant wheels and I like the clean looks of painted bumpers.

Also congrats on the new truck! But more importantly, thank goodness you don't have to drive a minivan anymore

It has an an FX2 valance, aftermarket grill, and non-Harley running boards. And all of those parts for the Harley are either really expensive or hard to find, or both. And I've never seen that paint scheme on a Harley before.

However, I still think it looks really good whether it is or isn't a Harley. Makes no difference to me!

1000000000% worth it when you got a loud clunky-rough riding truck.

When I first bought it I didnt question it... but now certain things point towards it not being a real harley.

All the interior is black with Harley badging, but no OE harley grille ( $800), no harley running boards, front bumper on a Harley truck has round fog lights not rectangles, aftermarket tailights (not harley).

So im thinking 2 scenarios:

1) This was a harley truck that got into an accident and PO (previous owner) didnt want to pay for OE harley parts

2) This wasn't a harley truck and PO found a real harley truck (perhaps written-off?) and got parts off of it.

The guy I bought it off of bought it like that so he doesn't know.

I don't believe any Harley trucks were made in 05 so I think someone made it into a Harley truck. I don't think it looks bad at all but I would change the grille and have the bottom color painted the Harley orange or paint it the same orange as your obs.

Only some, I think.

Run the VIN on here and it'll tell you how it came. Super comprehensive VIN break down.

Yea the grille will be changed no doubt about it. I was thinking of just painting it all black maybe?
