Good luck with your magnaflow y pipe dude. It was the worst direct fit part I've ever had to deal with. If yours is anything like mine, it will be absolutely impossible to get on without a lift. The angle of the mid-pipe is COMPLETELY different than the stocker, it changes the whole geometry of the exhaust system. After messing with it for hours, the only way we could get it tightened down with no leaks was to bolt the one side to the passenger side header and, and then use a 4 foot iron bar to pry the other side into place while bolting it down. Absolute garbage fit. I hope your headers are more forgiving than mine. Either way, I hope you have a lift at your disposal.

Nice rant! Your scaring me though! I have a funny feeling nothing is going to work and I will just return the Y-pipe, get a shop to re-work it. My ball-and-flange hookup looks off aswell. Honestly I think others should avoid the Magnaflow 93307!

Got the old bed removed, not without some grinding and swearing! Got it sold and taken away for $375 same day too.

New bed laid out ready to be stripped

Tailgate lip grinded off to find more rust!

I do like the time you put into the truck, but for as much money as you put in it you could've powder coated the frame at least. That should have held up against the salt and road grime for years if done properly. And the rust just makes me cringe. lol. Good job on everything you've done though.

Thats the plan! I was in my early 20's when I rebuilt it the first time around and money was tight. Battling the salt 5 months out of every year no matter what you use, the salt always wins. thanks for the comment!
