Default Gopherboy128's Dream Truck Build

Ford doesnt make a perfect truck for my tastes. The closest they come is the Lariat Special Edition in gray with black & red accents. Decided to start this thread to show my progress from stock, to "perfect".

Here she is with 20 miles on the odometer.

And less than 24 hours later...

I have more stuff planned, just need time to get projects completed - going to put Raptor dual exhaust with SPD down pipes and a 2019 F-150 Limited rear bumper on it, Phoenix 12" Tesla-style display, custom audio system & tinted windows.

Tomorrow, I am putting my Raptor steering wheel with paddle shifters on.

I just received my Icon UCA, same as you. I'm waiting on my Bilstein 6112's to come in. Looks good, I'll follow this thread, I'm curious as to how you handle audio system. Its on my to do list, I'm still researching. So far I've only replaced door speakers with Focals, but I need some bass. Factory sub stinks.

MTI Acoustics amp rack- bolts on to the stock amp locations. Audiocontrol D-6.1200 for 2-way active and rear coaxial. Running Focal speakers for those. Audiocontrol LC-1.800 for 2 Focal 10" shallow-mount subs in an MTI Acoustics Stage 2 enclosure- plain front, black leather red stitching. Also going to close the door cavities with some panels I had made, run SecondSkins Damplifier Pro on my doors, rear floor, back wall. Secondskins Luxury Liner Pro on the back wall as well. Then use Vibro 1/4" foam for my door panels, A/B/C pillars and rear floor as well.

Going to run either the Zen A2B or the Metra Axess (if it comes out before I am ready) I picked up the AudiFrog UM-1 for tuning. At some point I will install my Phoenix 12.1" front display, my hope is that I can use its bluetooth connection, to connect to my amp's DSP via the bluetooth module and tune it that way, but that's sort of an added bonus if it works.

Do you have part numbers for those F250 License Plate Lights and are they LED?

I JUST got back from taking all my cardboard boxes to the recycle. Yes, they are LED.

Edit: Looked the part#s up in the thread I got them from:
HC3Z-13550-C
HC3Z-13550-D

Requires you to file the opening in your bumper step pad, once you go to the F250 housings, there's no going back. Its all or nothing!
