Okay cool. Kept seeing comments from others about both turbos and thought I was going crazy. Haha. Good work! I've never seen someone else take on doing turbos. I was looking at it for mine for a while but I bailed on it for now. Several years down the road I might revisit the idea.

There's a twin turbo kit made from a place in Texas. Problem is getting the oil back to the pan being the turbos are mounted level or lower than the oil pan. I'm tossing up mounting them near the engine using the long tube headers or in the bed where the exhaust plumbing would be a whole lot easier. Any thoughts any one?

I've also heard of there being issues with exaggerated turbo lag due to it taking that much longer to get air/exhaust into & out of both ends of the turbos.

The days of bed space are gone forever. There's a 35 gallon fuel cell and all the wiring/plumbing back there now. The wheel wells are gone at the moment for room for the coilover towers. Being more of a heavy sports car now than a truck. Put in an Aeromotive complete fuel system to feed the turbos. I never got an answer back from the turbo seller but I believe I will go with two intercoolers as to not cause any restrictions.

Since idb also has the blower there shouldn't be to many issues with lag. But the lag also depends on the size of turbo, size of piping, sequential or compound boost, to many variables, but yes there would be a little more lag.

From the research I did doing a remote mount (i.e. in the bed) has noticeably more lag, but has the positive of pulling cooler air to start with. Basically you can get less lag with warmer air (engine bay), or have more lag with cooler air (in the bed). There's not much room inside of the engine bay on Fords (for whatever reason) which is why the majority of people do superchargers on their F-150's for more power instead of turbos. I've yet to find anyone that even makes a kit for our trucks as nobody really does it. Which makes it that much cooler. But the question I've always had is why are our engine bays so full in comparison to Dodge or Chevy? Even with e-fans (I don't have any) there's still not a lot of room, where a Chevy engine bay you can practically stand in there with the engine. To put what I'm saying in perspective for those that may not have seen, my friend has an 09 with the 5.3 and changed his headers out in an hour and a half because there was that much room under the hood.
