If it really bothers you, get other connector housing from Digikey/Mouser. The Molex part number should be right on the plug.

I noticed that from the very first page of this thread....When a guy drills 30+ holes in the body of a brand new truck because the flares are not tight enough with the sticky stuff.
I'll be doing the same thing, its a problem at times.
