That sounds like quite the undertaking. So you already have the console or are you having to do a full conversion?

Edit: Being that you have a 302A, I'm assuming you already have the full console.

Yeah my truck came with a console - & It is turning out to be, At first I thought all that was needed was a shifter, Cable, bezel for shifter, & a new wiring harness in the console itself. I bought everything off of another member here and was set to make my dreams come true. Then I found out the console harness I bought was for a 2016 truck & would not connect to my main wiring harness so I bought a second Console harness (this time from Ford). When it came in I installed it only to find that the required wires for the shifters electronic features are not in my main harness (at this connection anyway) SO I have ordered a NEW main harness because like I told @2016BoostedGreyGoose I've gone to far to turn back now!!! lol

It'll be nice once it's done. Guessing you needed a new steering column cover as well, to hide the old column shift?

It has been a while since I've posted any updates, so here is where I'm at. As I've mentioned earlier I have decided that I would rather have my truck with a floor shift, so I've bought the correct wiring harness to make this change. It will be a little longer before my vision is realized though as I have also purchased a new Lariat dash panel to cover two upgrades at one time.

Nice! Do you think in the end you will have regretted not buying a Lariat from the beginning?

How was installing the center console or did you already have it? I have a 302A with column shift, but I have that jump seat and I want to add the center console. I read it's quite the job, which you'd think it wouldn't be. I want my interior to look like this (except mine has the 8" touch screen)...

I'm curious about the lariat question as well. Seems like people on here buy an xlt, then spend the money they saved on making it a lariat.
