Frankentruck and other oddities from Firerunner's World

Not a problem - I figured that you had already seen the LED taillight swap thread where Ryan B & tmcolegr had already started working on it... & found to make it work two wires needed to be swapped for compatibility to the larger (halogen) harness - pins 6 & 7 to location 8 & 16 of the C405 connector, using new terminals because the original terminals from 6 & 7 wouldn't fit in in the new location.
I don't blame you for waiting on the wiring swap, smart move to only drop the tank once & maximize your room.... But yeah - Test definitely Concluded with their findings

Well I guess the spending frenzy that everyone gets on Black Friday finally caught up with me... I just purchased all of the required materials to add Adaptive Cruise Control & a Heated steering wheel to my truck!

lol, I JUST saw that on your build thread If I had a 5.0 I would be jealous
Yeah bought a 2017 Platinum steering wheel (the HL3Z-3600-KA) & a left wheel button to replace the normal cruise switch. They changed the part# on the wheel with the ACC switch on it & I was worried it wouldn't have the grey stitching like the old part#

I don't know which one I'm more excited about, having a nice steering wheel or actually being able to set the cruise & drive without constantly having to re-engage it. With my heavy foot I definitely need to use the cruise or I'll have speeding tickets out the ying-yang lol

My problem is I drive a Tractor/Trailer all day that is locked out @ 75ish mph so my foot stays on the floor, then I get in my truck & still try to put my foot on the floor
