So...I didn't get any painting in this weekend, but I did notice that everytime I opened the rear door (drivers side) I would get water on my running board. Upon further inspection, I heard the door slosh when I moved it. I stuck a cotter key in the drains on the bottom of the door & got quite a bit of water out of it.
I checked all of the other doors, but the drains appeared to be clear on them

I have had the same issue on my wife's Expedition. It has covers or something on all the weep holes, so I removed them and flushed the doors from the outside by the window fuzz. All kinds of dirt and crud came out of it with the water flow. So at that point I did all four of them with similar results.
One of those things it is good to check a couple times a year.

Definitely going to keep an eye on it. This is the first time since I bought the truck I've ever notice water trapped, but I knew it was a common complaint from the other threads on the subject. I didn't try to flush the door, but it looked like crud was blocking both drain holes on that one door.

The windows on the Expedition were squealing and making scratching sounds when powered up or down so I took a plastic body tool/ pry bar and ran it along the window fuzz to get rid of the grit in the fuzz while flushing with water. That is when I thought about the drain holes and removed the plugs to release a flushing of crud.
So for me it was an accidental discovery.
I typically wash down there (bottom of the doors) when washing the car, but rarely poked up in there to make sure it is clear, … until then.
Lesson learned. Added to mental checklist.

When I got off of work today it was a perfect 80° with 35% humidity, so I decided to get a head start on my Bumper project

I think it'll look good. Still too cool here to paint.
