I've put this off long enough....

Actually it wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. The website said it would take about an hour for the update, but it only took 15 minutes start to finish

Some people weren't a fan of the '18 LED tails, but I'm really digging the split Cs. The tint looks sick, dude.

TBH, when they first came out I wasn't a big fan because they remind me of chevy tails. But the more I saw them around town they have grown on me, and definitely offer better visibility when brakes aren't applied. I had told Hunter to lightly tint them, I figured that would look dark enough since they are going on a black truck.....I'm thinking he nailed it

GM's truck LED tails are whack, man. The weird sideways-T on the Silverado really messes you up and the too-fat C on the Sierra (and Anzo for Canyon, same deal) really overpowers the actual brake light. The problem is that the DRL ring doesn't wrap around to the side on any of the GMs; you don't get that extra corner visibility as with Ford, and the rear LED strip is crammed into the rear face of the light. Too cluttered, even confusing on the road sometimes.

Are you doing the headlights the same way or no? A tint could create a matching look front and rear, but I think the Platinum front end look is perfect the way it is.

My personal opinion, Ford would have knocked a homerun on the 15-17 lights if they had carried the outline all the way around the perimeter of the housing instead of stopping at the top & bottom like they did

No..I think I'll leave the SE headlight like they are, I like the look of the front end as it is now for the most part. Funny thing is, I wanted a Limited grille for the front, but after putting the Platinum grille on I've come to like it so much that I passed on the chance to buy a Limited grille for 300.00 that was on eBay
