Thanks to the generosity of a great member - @covertness, I was able to do a few upgrades on the interior. He gave me a center console for the low cost of $0.00!
All that he required was that I go to him & pick it up, So I gladly took a four hour road trip (each way) and gained the following goodies for my trouble:
1) A Black Console with the correct retainer nuts for mounting the shifter - I had to use a smaller retainer nut as I wasn't able to get a correct part# when I did the conversion.
2) A console lid with grey stitching to match the Lariat dash & shifter ****
3) A sliding door with the crosshatch design that matches the dash panel I replaced when I upgraded the dash
4) rear cup holder with chrome trim

Question, how much have you spent and would it not have been cheaper to buy a not so loaded Lariat? Just curious what the difference in price would have been.

As for buying a loaded Lariat, as I said before that never even crossed my radar when I was truck shopping. I purchased my truck for 22 - 23k & have spent 7k on upgrades.... Since I can't go back & see the price of new 2015 Lariats I priced the 2017 - they START at 40,865 according to ford(dot com) so I'm still along ways from a loaded Lariat price-wise.
Your not the first to question this logic, and I can't say that I blame you for wondering lol, But like I also said before this is my personal "Frankentruck".... everything I have done reflects my personal taste...not Fords idea of what I should want.
