you could also have them refinish all the wheels. I know the shop i write insurance estimates for gets them done at 140 per wheel their price list is like 179 or something like that.

I'm hoping they do something like that. I still have not gotten there with my work schedule and recently being sick. I might push for new rims at this point.

if you do have them refinished make sure they do them off the truck. some companies can do it with the wheel on the truck but the overpray from the refinish gets on suspension components and the inner fender.

So little update on the rim situation. They'll pay the 500 to have them powder coated but won't mount them again because they claim they can't do it without scratching them. Really wish they had told me this concern before they started. Their other offer is 650 off a set of rims but they keep these rims. Still not a good deal. I argued with them for awhile and left with them quoting me wheels.
I had another tire company put the trail grapplers on when my truck was new and not one scratch. It can be done. This whole thing is really starting to get to me. It's ridiculous I have to pay that much to get my rims scratched then pay more to get new rims all while they are going to come out even on the deal.

Scrolled through a couple pages on this thread and the truck looks great, I think I'm going to order the glossy a-pillars for my truck. How did they hold up over the years?
As for the tire situation, I recently purchased fuel mavericks and have to be careful about who mounts them. Big store companies like town fair tire generally have people who don't care if they scratch rims and use generic tire mounting machines. I found a couple places (usually speed shops) that mount the tire without actually touching the rim (well they bolt it down and have a poly(urethane?) cover that goes under the lip of the rim, so never actually touching the rim. Best is to call around to a touchless tire mounting place, show them the condition of your wheels beforehand, that way they can be held liable of any scratches. Hopefully the shop that scuffed your wheels makes it right with you.

After 2 AFE exhaust tips rusting and having the coating fall off I ordered this RBP tip with a red insert. I thought it compliments the red accents well without being too crazy. One picture with flash and the other without to show the cut out.

The glossy b pillars held up great except I had birds attacking them at work in the parking lot....Yes you read that right. Robins would attack my truck because they could see themselves in them. Eventually they were so scratched I took them off and put vinyl on. Watch out for birds!
