That looks awesome man. Looks like the colors from the actual Ecoboost emblem. Are they OEM Colors or matched as close as possible?

They're paint pens from Wal-Mart! Im pretty happy with how they turned out. I'm probably going to get some clear plastidip to spray over top of it to keep the paint from chipping

Very nice clean build, not over the top...

wondering, the AFE steps come down lower and swing out more than stock? when do they retract? is there an option to keep them down? Are they like the motorized ones on the Platinum?

Yes they come down lower and farther out, they work much better than the stock steps, you can actually get your boot on it and not worry about slipping off. They retract about 1-2 seconds after you close the door. If you want to keep them down you permanently you just open the doors on both sides then pull the fuse otherwise you can step on them then close the door and they'll stay down...mainly used for washing. They're just like the ones on the platinum but they are AMP research steps which are a better quality than the platinum steps.

I called AFE again today and had them look up my order for the intercooler pipes and when they called back with the info it was the VP of human resources. He explained what was going on and what they were doing to fix the problem. I should be getting them by the end of the month now. I thought that was pretty cool to get a call from someone as high up as he is and let me know what was going on.

Intercooler tubes showed up today. They look ok, not extremely impressed with the welds that connect the afe badges to the tubes or the hand made template used to trim the engine cover. Plus side they gave me an air filter recharge kit for free, down side is I have all dry filters.....

Never mind, they only gave me the cleaner and I can use that on my dry filters...this might work out.

Good looking truck. Hows that engine treating you, any of the sludge issues I keep hearing about around here?
