Default SCT X4 DIY Mount

Did a quick little project to be able to mount my X4 to the dash. I wanted something more low profile then the window mount and easier to take down if I'm ever at a place where i don't want to display it. I picked up a $6 magnetic mount at good ole' Wally World.

No sight glass, but they do have the magnetic drain plug. ive actually been looking for one that fits in the front, so itll have a fill hole and drain hole. But i think the only ones that will fit in the front are the B&M front diff covers because of clearance issues on our trucks.

Default Eco-BEAST Build Thread

Picked up two new horns to replace the factory ones ! Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as how to wire them up? I've tried consulting The Oracle ( Google and the search function on here ) but can't seem to find any write ups or previous installs with directions.

One of those "should of, could of, would of" situations lol I honestly never really thought anyone liked the name and I'm sure i wasn't the first to have it. Not to mention i have NO clue on how to do anything like that. Maybe next time ....

On a side note I've been following your conversion for a while and just wanted to say you are doing an awesome job, keep it up man!

Thanks for your good words EcoBeast!
I'm only trying to contribute to this forum as much as I get ideas & troubleshooting solutions here..

BTW, you were my first inspiration when I register to this forum a few years ago. I then realized that we often built dreams in this forum and then get them "throught" with a lot of work, help & support from this forum. I'm glad that I found all this here!

I totally agree that this is an awesome place for information and it has been in invaluable resource for planning future modifications.

Correct, i have non-catted, and I'm 99.9% sure ill fail emissions. Im currently stationed in an area with no testing so thats not an issue for me right now but later on down the road i might be kicking myself in the *** lol I love the sound and power so much though that, to me, its honestly worth it.
