Finally got around to adding my whip to the truck so I'm legal at the dunes and for a little more added safety at the local ORV park. I wanted to mount it so that I could have my bed cover on and tailgate up and still be able to have the whip on.

Default Optima Yellow Top Install

Over the past two weeks I've noticed that my battery was on its way out. Possibly due to the copious amounts of lights, or maybe just the beating it took this winter. Either way the first brand that came to mind was Optima. I picked up a Yellow top today and even got a nice discount on it. Pretty straight forward install, take the old one out and put this in and use the RED adapter on the back side of the battery for a nice snug factory fit!

Does your company (TAP Auto) have or sponsor a prerunner or do you mean you personally have one? I've never seen any pics of a TAP truck but I would love to!!!

Have a few questions for you. I've read through a lot of your thread but certainly didn't hit every page. I'm guessing that you're still running the fox coilovers on the front and fox on the rear along with the deavers. If that is so then you have had a pretty good amount of time to evaluate the set up. How do you like it?
Are you happy with the fox front and rear?
Would you be just as happy without the deavers?
In the time you've had them on would you say you have done some mild off road rides or have you been able to beat the crap out of them and they still hold up?

Nice truck you have. Sorry for all the questions but I'm hoping for some feedback from someone that has really tested their suspension.

my $0.02 -- the Fox shocks are the best we've used/installed. Icon are a close second, but in all honesty, the fox shocks ride so much better/smoother on and off road than anything else we've tried... it is noticeable

I am still running Fox with the Deavers and i really do love the pairing of the two. The Deavers allowed me to get my truck off the stock blocks and maintain the same ride height but increased my ride quality. The most noticeable difference is off road. The truck feels more planted and like it is able to better handle the constantly changing terrain here in WA.

I am beyond happy with my Fox set up and would recommend them to anyone.

I was just fine with my set up before the Deavers and unless you are really looking to fine tune the rear end, id say you can live without them. I am very glad i picked up a set though and they were much cheaper then a full replacement set of springs.

I have beat the system up quite a lot and really do enjoy doing so. I keep thinking to myself "maybe i should go with 3.0's...?" but what I've realized now is i would be wasting SO much money to go to 3.0's when my 2.5's are more then fine and have taken every single abusive trip I've ever put them though. This truck is not a "Starbucks Stomper" and I'm pretty proud of being able to really put it through its paces.

I appreciate the compliment and please feel free to ask any more questions, hopefully i can help answer them all.
