What accessories do you have? Im curious on how strong the suction cup mount is or the best way to affix it to the truck so i can video my suspension while I'm off road.

Suction cup is what I use for anything on the truck.. Clean the surface, and attach it.. It won't go anywhere!! But then you could do some extension pieces to get the gopro further out and get a better angle.. But is for sure attach it in the beginning with the suction cup...

Also go get a battery backpack, doubles the battery life!!!! That's one thing I found on a gopro, they don't last too terribly long. You can get some sweet action shots too using the time lapse photo mode.. And make sure you look up the best capture settings so it doesn't look so fish eyed. I changed mine to 1080p, 60 fps, and a medium frame size (not sure exactly what the last one is called).. They take amazing videos and you are going to LOVE it!

I have one too. You can also make a magnet mount for cheap with a magnet, the tripod mount and a bolt. The variety of options to mount is nearly endless with a simple google search. I just need to figure out a way to get it extended out further instead of seeing so much body and looking from just in front or behind.

I have a video in my build thread in the last few pages from up in the mountains too, might give you an idea that you could do right away.

You ever thought of just making your own? I have a few buddies who picked up a couple handlebar mounts and basically hooked them to a PVC pipe and the suction cup to get a SICK overhead shot.. I figured I could do the same on the side and pick up more of the truck

I was going to come up with my own, just have to figure that all out.

How do you go from the suction cup to the pipe though?

Awesome video, those are the kind I'm looking to make but only about 3-4 minutes long. Also i love your tow mirror blinker mod. How many lumens do those lights throw? I had an idea to mount some low power Rigid A series and use them as blinkers on the front of the tow mirrors. They throw about 400 lumens but I'm not really sure how bright they will be.

I doubt they throw a ton of lumens, just enough to be seen and glow a little bit. 400 lumens would probably be overkill.
