Default Drew7922's 2016 XLT FX4

Picked up a used 2016 XLT FX4 3.5L ecoboost with 23k miles and the 302A package. Love the magnetic color after owning a silver ingot and tuxedo black.

The previous owner added:

Level kit. I'm guessing 2in
Procomp Rockwell wheels wrapped in 285/65/18 KO2s. Look brand new
Katzkin leather seats.
Weather tech mats.

Basically everything I would have eventually added if I bought new.

I did add the REV tri fold bed cover, wheel well liners, and OEM steps. I also put on my bed extender that was on my 2013.

Future mods aren't much but include:

Trailer brake controller (dealership is installing as part of the deal)
Kicker sub behind the rear seat
Tint all windows darker
Add CarPlay
Replace the front spacer with Halolifts or Bilsteins
OEM factory LED heads and Morimoto fogs

Overall love the truck so far. I lost some features going from my fully loaded FX2 but nothing I will miss. Haven't had to fill up the 36 gallon tank yet but I'm sure I'll feel that in the wallet.

Any other suggestions for add ons are always appreciated.

Well I don't drive much at night. I go to work before it's dark and get off after the sun comes up but man these halogen headlights are terrible. I miss my 13 projectors. Anyone running the OEM leds? Good output?

Clean truck, previous owner had decent taste.
Assuming steps are for wife?
Rode in buddies '15 platinum with LED headlights, don't second guess it...do it.

Would remove FX4 stickers and get painted Ford Emblems.

Yes the steps are for my wife and kids. Wish I could have used my AMP steps from my 13 on it

Everything you're missing on your 13 is the exact reason I haven't bought a new truck. The projectors are awesome at night, my amp steps won't transfer and I'd rather not lose options going to a new truck. A lariat is not in the budget so I have convinced myself to stick with what I have. That being said, if I would get a new one it'd be almost exactly what you have. Same color with the same add ons

There's a thread in the 15+ section by BlackBoost for some LEDs that work really well in the halogen buckets.
I've got them in mine too & have only been flashed once, when I was towing a heavy trailer.

Thankfully out of the things I lost from my 13 the two that I miss can be added. The headlights and Amp steps. The sunroof was nice but broke. And never really used it. Don't think the cooled seats were that great either. Plus I had terrible luck with my 13. Drove 18 years with never being in an accident. Was in two in the 18 months I owned it. Really just hated driving it after all that. Needed a fresh start. Plus it's nice being back in a 4wd.

I'll probably stick with OEM. I had retros in my 12 and liked them but the OEM just look better in my opinion
