Retrospectively, I wouldve done the same. I curbed the **** out of two of my wheels and felt myself die on the inside.

haha I did the same thing with a set of Volks I had on my Subaru. I just got out and stared at them for like 10 minutes and felt like I was going to throw up.

well today I went ahead and installed my Brew City Boost tunes. when I was done I took it out for a spin and wasn't overly impressed at first. so I plugged my Livewire back in and pulled up the gauges and I was blown away (no pun intended) to see that I was making a whopping ~2 psi. I had thought maybe the truck felt sluggish just because I had spent several months driving a stock truck with tiny 265/70R17s but suddenly it all makes sense.

so anyway I hopped underneath it, pulled off the little oil filter access cover, and there's the clamp for the cold side to intercooler coupler, just bouncing up and down, not tight at all. I put it back in place, tightened it up and took it for another spin. the response on the BCB tune is insane. it breaks the 35s loose easily and holds steady at 18psi (keep in mind I'm at 5400' altitude) so I'm a big fan of this tune so far. however I'm thinking less and less of this body shop every day.

I did the exact same thing haha. Felt it happen, got out and was in utter disbelief. Ended up using a sharpie on a 700 dollar wheel lolol

hahaha. I basically did that to some RPF1s I bought with curb rash. used a rasp to file down the rough metal and then hit them with a black paint pen. one of them was a good like 6" rash and you couldn't tell it was there unless you were looking for it.

well I'm finally making some progress with the body shop. they really weren't interested in helping me out with all of the mistakes they made at first. but the grille is finally ordered and it looks like I'm going to get my topper replaced completely.

no real updates but I did some 4-wheeling today. we had two days of 40-50s and rain followed by a night of snow, so it was heavy, wet snow with plenty of mud underneath. these R/Ts just eat it all up.

the body shop called today and said my Limited grille was in, painted, ready to go, and the insurance adjuster came out to see the topper damage so I should know what's going on with that in the next day or two. if they do have to order me a new one, I'm thinking about seeing if I can pay the difference and get a 100XQ this time around, which is almost the same as my 100XL but the side windows are one-piece.

ordered a few things today. the OEM Ford hill descent control/traction control switch, so that I can add the hill descent with FORScan. also found a decent deal on a set of 37x13.50R22 Nitto Trail Grapplers so I went ahead and ordered them as well. I've been so back and forth between Nitto Trail Grapplers and Toyo M/Ts that it ultimately came down to which one I could find on sale first, and the Nitto won. so now it's time to decide if I keep my wheel fitment reasonable with a 22x11 0 offset, or make them stick out with a 22x12 -44mm offset and pray they fit.

Just my personal opinion, but I'd go with the 0 offset. With a 37x13.5 tire, that's gonna be HUGE. It'll stick out plenty. I'm not a big fan of that crazy -44 offset look, but that's me.

I agree with Speed. 0 offset. That's my opinion, also.
