Default 2004 single cab 5.4 build

Edit: Originally just my exhaust post but changed to an ongoing build thread. I love this little truck and have some big plans. Stay tuned!

So here is the low down on the exhaust. I did pace setter long tube headers, coated and wrapped, vband connection to magnaflow high flow cats, 2.5" stainless with piecut bends, h pipe just before SLP Loudmouth resonators, then some snakey bendy action up over the frame, another vband connection, size up to 3in, bendy, out the bedside. sound clip can be found here,

Great fab work. I’m old though...short and long radius mandrel bends are cheap, my time isn’t.

I'm old after this project haha. No I enjoy going over the top sometimes. Was definitely going for an unnecessary coolness factor and mandrels just wouldnt cut it.

Did you purge all that piping? You have more patience then me for doing all that for an exhaust, but good for you bud. If you have access to a machine with pulser give it a shot helps alot with heat control on that thin tubing.

Oh the patience ran out for sure. I purged probably 70% of it haha. As it got longer and my argon bottle got slower my level of f***s also got lower haha

welds were done on pulse, which is new to me, still trying to get that 100% figured out.
