I agree lol. 9:30 at night after spending two hours on the garage floor plus wet and nasty weather didn't make for very good videos. This weekend when the sun comes back out I'll get much better videos.

Haha. Perfectly understandable. Seems like the weather never works out well with truck mods. I've been wanting to debadge, wash, clay, and wax my '16, but anytime I get a chance the weather is bad or I've got something else going on.

Beautiful weather today so I was able to get out and clean all the nasty salt off the truck. Ended up looking pretty good. Also get a (hopefully) better video of the exhaust so we'll try again lol. Here it is!

Wife was kind enough to wipe down the whole interior for me!

Much better video! Sounds awesome! Also, nice roll stop at that stop sign. Haha.

When did you put the tow hooks on your hitch and how did you attach them? I did that on my last truck, ran grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers through double stacked 1/8" plate on top of the hitch, then through the tow hook. After I had them on a while a friend welded them to the hitch and we left the hardware on just for added insurance. Super helpful, and I kinda miss them.

Put those on there back in January when I went to PA and put my light bar on. Did pretty much the same thing you did with some bolts and steel plates to attach them to the hitch. Only thing I did different is used some C-channel to space the hooks off the lower part of the hitch. I use them as steps to get into the bed so I needed them a little lower to get my foot on them. They've been working great so far!

So not a lot has been going on, but I've got a few things planned for this weekend when my friend is in town. Going to replace the rear Skyjacker shocks with some Bilstein's to hopefully get some of the bounce out of the rear. No idea how old the Skyjacker shocks are, but I figured there's no harm in replacing them. Also got some amber LED marker lights to put on my running boards. Not sure how they'll look but at $17 for 8 of them I won't be mad if they turn out. A couple weeks ago I swapped my stock airbox inlet for a larger one off an F250 (the "Gott's Mod" yet not Gott's Mod mod?). To be honest, haven't noticed any difference whatsoever. If anything the engine is a little louder at idle. But performance-wise, nada. Oh well, given that it was only $7 I'm not too worried.

The two air inlet tubes. Stock on the right, new one on the left. At least it looks impressive if nothing else....

All loaded down with lumber for the bed frame I built for our new bed. Turned out great!

Well, got some stuff done this weekend! I replaced my rear shocks with some Bilstein's and man, it's like driving a new truck. The bounciness in the rear end has been almost completely eliminated. Very very glad I went ahead and replaced the Skyjacker shocks that were on there. Was also able to get some running board lights mounted on mine and my buddy's trucks. For <$50 I'd say they turned out pretty good.

We have power!

Since my friend's truck had a different style of running board we got some angle aluminum to mount the lights to.

Both sides run off a relay that's triggered by my raptor lights.

Cheap/free project this weekend! Cut out the KR logo from some oak I had laying around and epoxied it to my CB radio mount. Took about 15 min and cost nothing.
