I ordered a Head & Fog Light Tint Kit from LAMINX. They have 2 shades of smoke & I got the lighter one, called "Tint"
I think it made a huge difference visually & I noticed no real change in light output

I installed this Kit just as a preventative, as I wasn't currently having an issue but I'd be pissed if I got stranded somewhere when I could've prevented it. Although I didn't follow the instructions exactly
I think capping off the old Fuse Wire in the 27 plug is stupid, so I completely removed it from the cavity. It was a little tricky & took a good bit of time, which is why FORD just caps it off with heat-shrink I assume. I feel better that its completely removed, I am just weird that way...lol

I got a killer deal on a OEM Bed-Xtender from a 06' F150 on Craigslist
I have been wanting to get one for awhile but couldn't justify spending $300, finally this popped up online for very little money & near my house.

My biggest concern was if it would actually fit because the OEM for my 13' looks way different, but honestly I don't really like the all plastic version. I wasn't able to confirm or deny by searching the internet whether or not it was going to work. Dimensionally it looked right & the guy offered it to me for only $20 so I bought it & crossed my fingers reference the hardware fitting.

The cheapest I could find the required hardware was on eBay for $34 (2 Strikers & 4 Bushings) & keep in mind that was supposed to fit the older trucks, my year has a different style. It was quit dirty, so I had to power-wash it, then use a metal polish to get that discoloration off. But hell it looks almost as good as new now & I only have appx $60 invested!!!

I know its not a huge Mod, in fact its 11" shorter

I couldn't stand the fact that my antenna is the size of the Eiffel-Tower, so I bought a reasonable length one (21" vs 32") on Amazon & it's spiral wound like the OEM.
I am not a fan of the little stubby ones but the OE is obnoxious, so I had to do something!

That's all for now folk's & now that your all caught up, I thought I'd post a few recent Pic's

I still absolutely love the color combination on my truck & all the individual details I've upgraded over the last year, to get what's IMO a smooth/flowing look. She is definitely a head turner & I'd like to think, it's not just because she's LOUD

I really like it, now u can't hear it a mile down the road, but I don't need that BS. The sound is amazing IMO & everyone who rides in the truck, compliments the sound. I'll also add that I was skeptical of the digital amp/processor that mounts under the steering wheel, which controls all the door speakers. In my mind I didn't need those to be louder & while I am sure it does amplify the sound, what I really like is the constant "processing" of sound. IMO it does an incredible job of making the system "sound" as it should, kinda like a BOSE or BEATS system I guess...lol

Sounds awesome, and what I am looking for. I have some door rattles that I am sure would only be increased with louder speakers though.
