Today, I had the Borla Resonator removed & while I was apprehensive, I could not have made a better choice! It's slightly Louder, but much Deeper & best of all, it has a nice little Rumble while idling Note: That is a Stainless Pipe, just not T-304 (shiny) like Borla's

Pics not loading. Did you replace with just a straight pipe or a different resonator?

I bet it does sound good. I think that pretty much makes it an ATAK system now?

A piece of straight Pipe, so if anyone is interested in a couple hundred Borla Resonator for CHEAP, hit me up...lol

Not exactly, while your correct that the ATAK does not have a Resonator, the S-Type is a straight thru Muffler design, while the ATAK is a Tri-Chamber design... Also, just my opinion but the ATAK has that crackle sound in higher RPM's which I don't care for & the S-Type is very smooth. I initially tried buying a "delete pipe" from Borla or even the front pipe from the ATAK, but Borla will not sell it separately. However, the agent I spoke with stated he has the S-Type on both of his vehicles w/a delete pipe & that I wouldn't regret it. Boy was he right...lol

I tried to get a pipe from them too a while back for my 5.0. Got the same from Borla. I just emailed them, likely would have been better to talk with them instead. Since I no longer have that truck, I've seen a couple places where I could get the pipe.
Interesting on the difference between the mufflers, did they give you any idea when they did that? I almost think about 5 years ago, both mufflers had the same PN. Could be wrong.

I called them & still got nowhere (lol). May have been the same 5 years ago, IDK, but here's the current design's....

Note: I hooked up the Halo's, but I did not hook up the stupid LED strip (between the Halo's & oem Turnsignal).

Purchased 2 of "2011-2019 Ford Vehicle Pedal Commander PC18 Bluetooth Throttle Response Controller" from Stage3motorsports last week during their B-Day sale for $255 each & actually got to see my wife smile (kind of an evil smile...lol) after I installed her's. She's been complaining about the "drive by wire lag" in her Fusion for awhile & since its under Warranty, I can't Tune it. So this was the perfect answer, as its NOT a Tuner & doesn't leave a footprint, for the Dealer to whine about It simply lets u adjust your vehicles Throttle Response, as mild or aggressive, as u want & it ACTUALLY WORKS. Also, it was an amazing addition to my F150, even though she's Tuned, that doesn't eliminate the "drive by wire lag" but this DOES & the 5.0 is stupid responsive now

I’ve been reading through your build thread. Truck looks amazing! When I came to this post I had to chuckle a little about the way you described the Pedal Commander in conjunction with your tune as having”stupid fast” throttle response. I also run a PC with a tune on my ‘13 EB and I couldn’t think of a better way to describe it. What setting du you run your PC on? I’m on”Sport #2”! Anything higher and it breaks the tires loose! Fun stuff!
