Still in the "break-in" period, but the first 100 miles are in the bag, so upon returning home, I jumped on it twice (in sport mode)
& it sure felt better... In fact I was able to make my wife's head look like a "bobble head" LMAO

Apparently I did not get a big increase in RPM's with this Gear change, so MPG's shouldn't really suffer
3.31 = 1500 @ 60 mph & 1900 @ 80 mph
3.73 = 1600 @ 60 mph & 2100 @ 80 mph
These are not exact but as close as I can tell using the oem Tachometer.
Very happy with this choice so far

I'm not a fan of red but.....my lord I love your truck!
I just picked up a 2012 in sterling grey. Of course, the PO wanted the Texas edition so it's too chrome. I'm going to be using some of your "tricks" to de-chrome the bugger.

Oh yes sir, I am aware! In fact years ago I had a 2WD Longbed, that I only used as a winter-beater when living in MI (long story why I only had a 2WD at the time) & after locking the axle, buying proper tire's, plus sand-bags centered over the rear axle, it was amazing what that truck could do! This truck however, I am way too OCD & would never take it off-road, unless it was an emergency. In fact we took her to MI a few months ago to visit people & I almost had a stroke when I had to drive her down a dirt road...LMAO

LOL, here I am in northern MI, and my '17 has never seen a gravel or dirt road, the '12, only a couple times.
