No, it didn't "drone" & in fact it sounded very good at an idle, as well as into the 3-4,000 RPM range (if u like a louder exhaust). The only part I did not like reference the sound of the Legato was in the higher RPM's where the best way to describe it was "raspy" kind of a really fast crackly sound. Honestly that was tolerable, especially if u don't get into the higher RPM range frequently.... Now here's what made me get rid of the Legato system after 2 years: after approx a year something inside the muffler came loose & was rattling. I called Legato & they quickly sent out a replacement. Fast fwd another year approximately & the damn muffler started to rattle again. Now it only did it in higher RPM range, but I get up there frequently, yes I am one of those drivers, lol. Well they stated they'd send me a replacement & then there was an excuse reference stock & after about a month of waiting, I got pissed & decided I didn't want to change the muffler every year anymore.... Just my experience, hopefully yours would be better, their system does sound great in low/mid RPM range.

The LEGATO system is only appx $500 while my BORLA system was appx $1100 & BORLA is highly rated/recommended for its "quality" & the difference in the appearance/thickness of the Piping is a HUGE. Another note, while the LEGATO does have low grade Stainless Piping, it does NOT have a Stainless Muffler! BORLA is Stainless everything & a very high quality of same... It's a u get what u pay for thing!

On 11-11-18, I finally had the Gear Swap done & Detroit TrueTrac installed.
Well today the Gears/TrueTrac had their 500 mile checkup & they got a perfect bill of health
I also had this awesome Diff. Cover installed, since the shop was pulling the cover & made another Trans adjustment.

Well, I am finally a part of the FORScan club & have made my first changes successfully

I was able to successfully install 2 changes that I absolutely love.... Bambi Mod & increased the TurnSignal Flashes from 3 to 5 signals.

However, I am very disappointed that there are so very few changes which can be made to my 2013 F150

Getting ready to start on the Wife's 2016 Fusion, which is exciting, because there appears to be a lot of changes we can make!

Thank You to everyone who worked very hard putting all of those Tutorial's together

Update
I was able to make several changes to the wife's 16' Fusion... the Bambi-Mod, increased Turn-Signal Flashes, activated Tire Pressure display/values, activated Remote Start dash controls (added Remote Start previously with add-on Module). Next I am going to enable the
Side-Mirrors to Tilt downward when placed into Reverse (just found this mod).
.

Cool, not too far behind you. Got everything I need, but warmer weather and courage. Those two mods you just did are at the top of the list.

Remote start is something I'll never be without again. I always had it on my wifes last three cars, but never for myself, until this truck. Really like it at subzero temps and heated seats. Sure you're gonna like it too this summer.

That's correct John, I'll really like it in the Summer, as I don't need it now

After considering it for awhile, I finally decided to replace my stock Air-Box (equipped w/a K&N air filter) with a high flow replacement from JLT, which is a small American Co. The JLT is not real pretty like a S&B or Volant, but it produces the most actual HP gains of any other I could find. In fact it "requires" a custom Tune, due to the massive 4" diameter Tube. However, I am lucky as my SCT Tuner already has the provisions for it, all I had to do was select the JLT CAI then reprogram. Time will tell how much I like it, but I swear the Truck likes it. However, I will advise if you're considering one, it's very LOUD. The kids & I like it, the wife not so much...lol
