Finally got those rusted Valve Cover Bolt's all replaced, but at a cost of appx $160 for 28 new Bolt's
I think FORD should reimburse me, cheap *ss crap! This is a low mileage, rust free, southern Truck. Only good news is that I was able to get them all out without breaking any off. Only the bottom 6 on each side were the worst & while a 10 mm socket is supposed to fit them, it required a 9 mm & even an 8 mm at times, tapped on w/a hammer to get them off

The custom Ruby-Red & Matte-Black paint job was done by Tim (see his store Link above). Now, you won't see a Rear Emblem painted like mine on his web-site, BUT ask & you shall receive! After running my idea by Tim, he graciously accepted my challenge & boy, did he deliver!

All I can say is, I hope mine looks that good after 5 years. Really like that front end. Well done.

Thanks John,

That Tremor Grille completely changed the Trucks appearance. Then you add in all the small things like tinted lights & color matching Emblems..... Voila, an instantly eye catching difference from the norm'

P.S... I am SURE your Truck will still look "brand new" but "custom" after 5 years, I love your ideas

Honestly it does sound good, but its so much quieter than my LEGATO was, I hope I can get used to it. I will say, while I liked how loud the LEGATO was, I did not like the raspy sound when the throttle was stabbed & the BORLA does NOT do that at all. The BORLA has a very smooth growl throughout the entire RPM curve & zero Drone

I should also mention, the quality of the BORLA system is immediately apparent in comparison. The pipe seems heavier (high-quality 300-series stainless steel that's almost completely resistant to corrosion and discoloration) the Muffler, Resonator & Piping are all Stainless (the LEGATO does NOT have a Stainless Muffler)!
My one complaint with quality in the BORLA system is that the Tip's are NOT double-wall

I think the raspy sound is gone with the BORLA because they also use a Resonator & the LEGATO does not (probably also why it's not as loud). I am hoping the BORLA may get a little louder over time, as there's a packing material inside their Muffler & Resonator

My LEGATO system was loud & while I like that, I didn't think my very close neighbors in our new neighborhood would (lol). Plus, I really wanted the Black-Tip's & dumping straight out the back will be good now, as I don't want condensation blown on my new garage wall.

Pic's to follow
did the legato drone while driving? I’m thinking about getting it for my 10’ F150.
