Lead foot Grille Swap or Customization

Lead foot Grille Swap or Customization
New member and F150 owner here (second time), starting to think about a build on my 2020 Lariat sport. Not crazy about the grille with the 2 bars above and below the center stack, looks a little busy color matched. Thinking about either a.) trying to black out the bars or b.) swapping for something else. I really like the 18-20 grilles in general and don’t think I would mind a chrome, really like the platinum, or a black/mag grey with the single bars seems like it would be a good option. Looking for opinions or experiences, seems like most lead foot trucks I’ve seen have this, the stx, or stock mag grey from xlt? Anyone have any chrome or platinum on lead foot? Any easy way to black out the small bars?

I think your cheapest bet would be to remove the grille and pop out the 2 smaller bars above and below the center stack and either sand, plastic adhesive, paint and then clear coat yourself black or drop off to an autobody shop.
I looked at used grilles on Ebay and they range from $200 to $800 for the Platinum/Limited grilles. I did see one where the center stack was painted black.
My truck is a 2021 XLT, and I found a Lariat grille and had it painted by a local autobody shop.

Wow! Yours looks great. How much did it run for the body shop to paint it? Any idea if those bars will actually pop off? I tried to fiddle with them briefly to see if they would but they seemed on there...

I'm pretty sure they pop out. Can you take a close up picture of them? For the 2021 Lariat grille, you have to remove the entire grille, and pop out each clip one by one from behind. I used the same plastic tools to remove my fender badges.
