Thanks
It really did a great job. I don't know if you have a machine or buffer at your disposal or not. If you do, use it! If you don't have one I can give you a link to a good buffer and pads to get you started. I say that only because A, you will save your arms and shoulders by using a buffer. B, the results will be 100 times better with a buffer. But that kit will do everything you desire to do to help bring your truck back to par. If you want something a little bit nicer I can give you a link to what I eventually upgraded to, to get the best results I could out of my black paint.

Nice truck. It's good to see those old late 1990's F-150's getting attention. I owned two of them and they were great trucks.

Been a while since I've updated this. The only thing I've done since the last time I posted in here, is remove the steps and slapped some jbl speakers in it. There will be some very big changes coming soon though. For now, my time capsule from 99. haha

A little food for thought though, nice shiny 20x12s, 35s, and 4'' lift practical and tactical. And some of my usual little subtle upgrades here and there.

That thing looks really nice. I spent a lot of time modding my old super duty with pretty much all the same things you're talking about. You can check out my build thread for ideas on it. I changed it to 05 headlights, lifted it 3 inches, dual steering stabilizers, 35" trail grapplers, dual 4 inch exhaust, hids, speakers, proflap mud flaps, rbp nerf bars. I just put in a heavy duty steering box too because it tended to wander with the crappy stock steering box. Only thing is it was a v10....I would kill for a 7.3. If you want a good deal on exhaust or a tuner go here. http://performancetruckproducts.com/

With just the level. No rear lift.
It's been a little while since I've been on here. But, I did end up ordering my exhaust from the website provided above. So thank you for the recommendation. I went with the 5" Mbrp straight pipe turbo back with a 4" downpipe. I also just had it lifted just a little bit. Went with the zone 2.5" level which gave it about 3" upfront and I through a fabtech 1" block in the back. It gave it the perfect stance that I wanted. And when the front settles it will sit perfect. I also went with 20x12 hostile havocs and 33 12.50 20 trail grapplers.

Haven't posted any pictures in a while. Not really sure anyone sees this anymore anyway, but why not. Its the only forum I get on anyway. Haven't done to much to the old girl in a while, just finally completed my whole stereo in it. Jbl 6.5'' components up front, jbl 6.5'' 2 ways in the back and single Jl 12'' Shallow mount in the rear. I'll post up some pictures and model numbers eventually. Sounds great, perfect amount of bass in the cab, but not look at me bass outside of it. Going to be doing some small little detail work on the outside soon too. Anyways heres some pics:

Sharp man!! Loved my 7.3 but I discovered real quick that being 16 and not having a solid job at the time doesn't work with an old diesel truck $$$$$$ lol. Here's a pic of the ole girl

Thanks man! Yea, I always wanted one growing up, but I wouldn't of been able to afford it. I used to tow a 14k pound trailer with it and never skipped a beat. Now her big weight days are over and most likely will tow a boat at the most here and there. For now anyways. Although thankfully I've had no problems with the ole girl. Only money I've ever put in it are fun mods and routine maintenance. So I've been pretty blessed there. But being in the military with a constant paycheck is nice too. lol Because even routine maintenance isn't that cheap. lol That was a beautiful truck you had there too. Gotta love a clean 7.3. Although you still have one of the cleanest f150s on here imo.
