Default F-250 Build Thread, Starts Here!

F-250 Build Thread, Starts Here!

Figured I would just turn this into my f250s build thread and continue where the f1 left off. I like the forum and my tenth gen brothers, so I'll stick around and post up things for the f2 in here too. Thats right, you guys aren't getting rid of me that easy. haha (Yes I do know there an f250 forum on here)

It's very dirty. But, its pollen season here right now, so washing is pretty pointless. It is the late 99 btw.

So there she is. Dirty, but a clean blank canvas.

As far as mods go, I have a few planned at the moment and wish list to complete some day. Here's a list of what I'm aiming for right now.

Exterior:

2.5'' to 3'' lift. Most likely going zone.

Dual steering stabilizer.

20s and 35s. Already picked out, hopefully will be done in the summer.

4-5'' turbo back exhaust. Not sure which one yet.

Either the S&B or Ford ais intake and possible fender sleeve mod.

Will probably remove fx4 stickers, but that's not certain. Door moldings are getting the boot.

Wash it, polish it, wax it and get it shiny!

Interior:

New sound system.

Weathertech floor mats.

Maybe some seat covers from wet okole.

Egde insight cts display.

Dream list:

6'' lift.

22x12 American forces.

37-13.50r22 trail graps.

05 front end swap.

Gears.

Upgraded turbo.

Monster Transmission.

I'll miss the Ole 150, but that's a nice clean canvas! Looks good!

Inside, outside and under. My dad knew the original owner and bought it from him around 12-13 years ago If I remember right. He had all the service records and babied it, then my dad bought it from him and rarely drove it. Just got used to tow the camper once a year and back and forth to church or an errand here and there. I think my dad only put around 30k on it the whole time he's owned it. She's been babied and taken care of religiously, with all service records kept. and I intend to do the same. That looks like a another beautiful f250 you used to have though. So why did you get rid off it?
Turbo went out, had like 3 different fuel leaks in the same month, front inner axle seals went bad, it was a "restored" truck but they didn't do a good job on reassembly and everything had been kinda tampered with, etc. it was nickel and dimeing me and I didn't have a solid job. Diesels are expensive. Sold it for way more than I bought it for and bought my current truck and a quad which I'm glad I did. That looks like a super nice truck though I'm sure you'll love it. The power is so nice. Mine had an exhaust, intake, stage 2 transmission, tuner, and when the turbo went out I put a 66mm turbo on it. It would haul

that thing is clean man! I think first things first, that bug guard has got to go.

that'll make it look a ton better in my opinion.

Well haven't really done a whole lot yet. Put in some new speakers, black and chrome emblem overlays, removed the bug guard and washed it. Except it's been raining and now you can't really tell. Oh and I installed this forums favorite mod. Some 6k hids with 55w ballast. Headlights are aimed properly, so that's it for now. Will post some pics here in a bit.

Heck yea man! I'm already in love with the little bit of stock turbo whistle I've got. Can't wait to get the exhaust done. I'm going with the 5'' mbrp muffler delete exhaust and the ford ais severe duty intake with the fender sleeve attached to it. To get twice the airflow. Also thinking about getting rid of these steps. I like their use, but not their look. I'm 6'1 so I really don't need them right now anyways.

Oh and here some pictures. Looks much better with that bug guard off.

For some reason I was having problems getting a good close up shot of the emblem.

how did that mcguires paint restoration kit work...looks like it did a great job. I just got a tuxedo black 2012 FX4 and the paint needs so tlc and im debating what to do to bring her back to 100 paint glory days. not alot of scratches but needs a good buff and polish.

Thanks
