Blacker, Meaner, Ripped's 2012 Black FX-4

Did a little more blacking out yesterday.
Hit the rear Ford and Ecoboost emblem.
My wife does not like it. She suggested that I get a bunch of LED underchassis lights or strip lights for the side. Um no
Today I picked up a slightly smoked license plate, to kind of complete the rear blackened theme
Tonight, I made some stainless steel brackets for the cube LED fog lights. The drivers side worked great, as there were two bolts to attach the bracket.
On the passenger side, there was nothing, so I did not mount the lights. I'll have to either fasten with some self tappers or through bolts or something.
So mounted one side anyhow. Should have the other one done tomorrow night.

The F and R are available on eBay
The fenders are shipped with the paramount kit. I am not completely happy with the fit, but they are an entry level price, so may change them up in the future, if I can't get them to fit the way that I want.

Haven't hooked the cube lights up yet, but pics of the drivers side mounted.
I have to make provision for mounting the other side. Probably need to drill some through bolts.
Also pics of the clearance lights, which now match the amber colour of the other lights.
I am thinking of recessing the cube light that sticks out a bit more behind the bumper,

This is a pic of the other lights, pretty much ready to go on.
I hand made the light brackets out of some stainless steel I had on hand. I made a 1.25 fold down flange on each side to stiffen the bracket. It's pretty solid, I think.
I like stainless, with the amount of rain that we get, to reduce the chances of corrosion.

new to the forum. i have a '13 f150 4x4 off road, blacked out pretty much. i want to change the grill to like what you have and possibly add an led light at the bottom opening next to the license plate. not sure where i could find something that would fit, as i've only had a truck for a year. but again, i do like what you did to fill that gap as well. any way you could send me links as to where you'd find this? much appreciated! love the truck!

Hi you can check the forum, (there is a vendor here that sells the grille) or eBay or Amazon
You will be looking for a "Paramount" grille

It's been another weekend of tweaking, and the weather is getting a little better.
I got my Bora 1.5" wheel spacers, so installed those.
Took off the Ecoboost emblem and blackened/tinted another specialty emblem that's about the same size, in it's place.
While I was installing the wheel spacers, I blackened the lug nuts.
There is not much more that I can blacken now
Before I did all that, while my better half was window shopping on a newer vehicle, I got quite a few compliments from a couple sales staff and reception staff at the (non-ford) dealership. Asking me stuff about my truck, along with the grille.
The 1.5 inch wheel spacers really complete the package. I will try and take some photos soon. One day this summer I'll tackle the sun roof.

I had the broken sunroof scenario. I battled quite a while with the kit. I was very careful to follow the instruction video, and thought that I had it nailed.
Unfortunately the repair was not a success. It retracted and never moved forward.
I did the manual test with the wrench and allen key as well before reinstalling.
So I pulled the motor and managed to get it to full forward position. At least that way I have it closed. Possibly I have the drain leak fixed anyway.
Just tired as hell after doing all that work.
Might not be the fault of the kit, I just think it seems like a bad design overall
