Thank you white_dc and I agree about the switches . I have an extra Harley surround (so it's OEM Black) and I have a few different types of switches on order to see which is best. One thing is that they will all be consistent, black to blend with the background, lower profile and they will all be blue LED so that they blend with the blue LEDs on the speedo. There are five per side.

Great question, the upholster and I went over those details to make sure something like fitment wouldn't be a problem. The piece that posed the largest problem was actually the overhead console because of the doors. I was going to have those covered in CF, but the added material with the leather and CF would be too bulky. You can Dremel away some of the plastic, but you can only do so much of course, I stuck with the black doors with the leather surround and it still looks great IMHO.
Football...Youth up through Semi-Pro. A couple local college scrimmages as well.

Yeah, you've done a great job. My interior is driving me nuts. I hate bouncing from project to project. I've told myself I'm finishing the outside and then I'll move back inside.

That's a tough job and a thankless one, I don't envy you but certainly admire you for taking that on. I assume it's quite rewarding though, especially on the youth level.

I used to work out at the gym that Ed Hochuli and Mike Carey went to. Everyone there would have their stories on how they had been burned by them because of various calls against 'their' teams. Most of these complaints were against Hochuli, of course . BTW-Hochuli is no where near as big nor are his biceps jacked like his Smeeedium zebra shirt shows on TV .

To bring it back to our trucks; I've had six projects going on my truck for the past couple of months in various stages of non-completion and I concur, very frustrating. You'll get there and once you do, you'll feel quite accomplished.

That's funny. My old man works on my crew, he has a man crush on Hochuli.

Keep up the attention to detail man. You do great work...

Default Super Duty Platinum Tailgate

This is one of my favorite modifications that I have done to my truck. A couple of years back I saw on this forum that you could install a Super Duty Tailgate on our trucks. I liked the idea because the options included the step, bar, and rear view camera. The other item of note was that people were finding them for a couple-few hundred bucks, even better I thought. I started looking on ebay, CL and a few other places, but the prices I was encountering were a lot more expensive. Ok, disappointing, but I’ll keep looking for the right deal (I saw the tailgates selling for as much as $3500). I was looking for a Black one to match my truck and I wanted to have a Black Ford Logo like I had done previously. I found that logo pretty easily via the same dude that had done my last one one and I figured I was all set to buy the tailgate and install it, voila, good to go. Well, other projects got in the way on the truck as I casually looked around from time to time for a tailgate and the poor lil logo sat there in my garage just waiting to be mounted.

The mounting points including the bracket where the camera connects into are different depending on year.

Finally about two months ago with a bunch of other projects going I saw a dude selling a 2013 Black Platinum Super Duty Tailgate with step, bar, camera and harness. I made him an offer and even with shipping via freight it was an awesome deal. I picked the tailgate up at the local YRC and I was like a giddy kid on X-mas morning. Now the tailgate needed some cleaning up and I also noticed that the Black was actually tuxedo black which is a metallic black, so no bueno when you see it in the sun. I actually like the color, but it doesn’t match the black on my truck. So I decided to get it painted and while I was at it I had the aluminum panel Line-Xed to match the rest of the Line-X on the truck. It mimics the front end with the various gloss and matte finishes.

I did end up having to modify the logo and logo mount because depending on year, the logo mounts and cameras are actually different (they look the same from the outside). So I just had to dremel a bunch of material away and I VHB’d and plastic adhesive it as well. I also added a Jimmi Jammer lock plate and another McGard as well. So over two years on, this is finally done. SWEET!

It was tough getting a picture of the JimmiJammer but it is that battle ship grey color.

This is the McGard as well as the JimmiJammer metal plate that attaches via one of the hinge bolts therefore creating stronger protection than just the plastic McGard.

A BIG THANK YOU as always to @ akdoggie with his help with the Navigator Steering wheel, clock spring and tailgate. Thank you sir!

Boy does that look damn good.

If only there was an easy simple way to get rid of the super duty embossing or whatever you'd like to call it that's stamped in the lower section. If that was gone it would look oh so cleaner. But as is it's looking damn good & right at home on your truck!
