Black Cherry '13 FX4 SCREW SLOOOOWWW Build
I've been reading through the forums for a while and decided I should start documenting my build. Ordered the truck from the factory and picked it up beginning of July last year.
-2013 FX4 SCREW 5.0
-Ruby Red Metallic with Appearance PKG
-Off-road, towing, luxury, spray in bed liner, soft folding tonneau . . . all the bells and whistles.
Wanted to put 10,000 miles on it before I started working on it just to make sure nothing was wrong from the factory. I'll get pictures up soon and as I continue to make mods.
So far all I've done is put the Roush performance package on; cat-back exhaust, CAI, and coil-covers. Exhaust sounds amazing and the combo brought me from 18.5 mpg to 20-21 mpg. Pretty good for the 5.0. About to send head rests to Bdukes55 for some FX4 embroidery.
My theme for the truck is Ruby Red, race Red, and Black. I love the way the Race red and black compliments and accents the ruby red.
On the future projects list is:
-ICON Stage 2, 3" lift (Front Coilovers, UCAs, and rear shocks) and 3" Auto Spring Rear lift.
-Goodyear wrangler Duratracs, 305/55/20 (33"x12"); keeping the black OEM 20"s.
-5 star tune
-Fender Flares (thinking bushwacker pockets PTM)
-even out window tint across the board (minus windshield)
-HID Zenon fog light upgrades to match HID headlights
-ANZO LED mirror markers, tail-lights, and 3rd brake light.
-Oracle LED mirror caps
-Rigid flush mount D2 back up lights integrated into bumper
-bedrug bed liner
-LED bed lights
-Undercover swing case toolboxes
-brake calipers painted race red
The list gets longer and longer everyday. this should keep me busy for a while.
