Nice build. I love those photos by the sea there! Makes us land-locked owners jealous!

Those side steps look awesome! Planning on adding some kind of grip tape to them, I'm assuming?

I'm gonna bedliner them and see how they work if i find theyre to slippery I'll cut the top portion of the step part so they're flat like the base of a triangle and weld some flat stock to them

More progress. I only had 1 day off this week, but still managed to get some stuff done. This was probably the most complicated part of this project, however now that we have templates the other side should go together real quick. These brackets took a lot of trial and error. before they were just mounted to the pinch welds and would flex when you stepped on them these are modeled after the factory bracket which braces the flex in the pinch weld, by mounting into the body using the stock factory holes.

the only thing left to do on these steps is do the brackets for the other side, prime, and then 4 or 5 coats of bedliner. Then they will be on the truck for good!

Brackets are 100% finished! Since all the welding is finished i was able to bring them back to my house where I can finish them for good and work on that during the week!

Got one side all scuffed and primered before I ran out of daylght.

theres a few runs that need to be sanded out, but I'm not really worried about dirt nibs because I'm bedlinering them anyhow.

ohhhh and I bought a new toy that should make mods go much easier now! Just a little 1/4 inch driver. Nice thing about this is I can swap all the way up to a 1/2 inch adapter. I'll probably get a half inch impact in the near future though.
