Appreciate that. I have an advantage over most of the guys on the forum, I don't have to deal with rust.

The small stuff should take you longer if you care how it turns out. Drives me nuts watching guys in these social media groups that just slap stuff together. You have to take some pride in your work, even the stuff that'll never be seen.

Slapping stuff together like these exposed wires and filthy parts?? Lol. Feel free to check out my radically different build thread

That's extremely clean compared to some of the stuff I see.

Been about a month or so since having the new tires on. I went with the Atturo Trail Blade A/T. Good looking tires and they ride real nice. Haven't messed with the truck much since. I'm saving to rewrap the seats.

Added a tint strip across the top of the windshield today. I originally bought a full size roll to come down past the mirror but didn't like it.

Pulled the badges today. Blasted them black and white to match the truck.

Those look great! What did you do to remove the chrome?

I didn't. I used some adhesive promoter on them. 4 coats of white and black. Put them back together and then cleared them as a whole.

I really like what you did with the badges. Very sharp! I never really liked the stock ones on my 97 and you've inspired me to do something about them. . I would do the same thing you did, but I don't think more red is what my truck needs. I've glanced at other years' badges but I haven't decided on anything yet.
